AudioTool for Android
Worth every penny!
Fantastic! Superb app. The only problem I'm having is the buttons in popup boxes like "OK" and "CANCEL" are dark and very hard to read. Same with the buttons and text boxes in the generator screen.
One of a kind app that works. EXCELLENT layout and quick graphics that are accurate. Calibration of external Dayton mic is dead on. Fun to use with detailed help AND excellent forum group for app. Speaker measurements too are ideal and mirror my external gear!!...You will be hooked...
UPDATE: Clearly, the developer has noticed that the font had always been too small. Awesome fixes have been made in that respect, thanks! Great set of tools. Wish it had memory buttons for saving/loading your own quick settings. Wish you could change the colors of the spectogram. Haven't checked this for accuracy, but the ability to save and load calibration curves may mean quick calibration no matter what device you have. Outstanding app and a must have for any sound professional.
This is such a helpful tool! Also, the developers are continuously adding improvements.
This is the best app in its class.
Use it all the time. This continues to get better and better.
Features are constantly being added and improved.
Powerful tool for audio measurements and tuning! I used it with Dayton imm-6 to adjust the DSP in my car and the result is impressive!
Amazing what it can do. Ability to take calibration files from mics or manually calibrate it makes this app especially useful.
Awesome for checking sound levels at gigs
Thus app works great for balancing the output db's of my speakers.
No instructions on how to use
Gives you all the information you need
You could not need more.
Top analyzing App for measurements period.
Great quick tool
Fun for the girlfriend
This is an effective tool that I use from time to time to make quick measurements. It definitely has limitations, but keep in mind... It's a phone! For a basic tool that allows you to get a quick look it works well. Definitely not a TEF or EASERA. but it is smaller, it cost less , and it will give you a quick ideas about what's going on in the time domain!
so far so good all seems to work. will get external mic and then need to see and compare to other pro SLM. price is ridiculously low for such functions. another major factor in favor is that the developer is on hand for support.
What a joke. Nothing works. Spl meter doesnt fluctuate at all. Rta does not change at all no matter what i change the settings to....and i have 3000 bucks of car stereo in this ford ranger.....argh
Super useful for finding feedback loop frequencies, and even room tuning with the right measurement mic.
I spent 3 hours trying to figure out how to load the cal file for my dayton imm-6, it has to be in 1/3rd octave. Once I got the calibration offset in it worked great
Works great at the construction site. Helps keep us under OSHA noise compliance.
After using it for some time, I can't find a better tool.
On my moto x pure it freezes any time you change a function. You need to exit and restart to get it going again.
Still an excellent app and always being improved via regular updates.
Aside from a very poor response curve from my phone's microphone, it works great. Needs a bluetooth microphone or some other input method to be really useful.
Excellent. A bit expensive though!
This app works great with my LG Pro 2 phone! You made a great app! *** a friend look for this app and he could not find it. ***
it was already excellent, now it is the best Android app for acoustical analysis..
Just add a good mic and good to go
Worth it
It is a very nice tool set with a lot of features. Better than most on Android. Still no 1/f mode.on full res. Apparently the offset value isn't saved with the mic cal files, at least on my S6. Would also be very helpful if button selections were confirmed in the measurement window; like dBA, fast, slow, etc next to read out. Some confusion over some button states; I.e single vs 1/3 Oct Cal's. Font sizes still way too small on graphs for S6
Don't be without this brilliant audio tool on your Android. The waterfall is an excellent tool, for monitoring and setting up the audio spectrum level on your HiFi.
I use it with a Samsung Galaxy S7. This is just a no-brainer for $8. I used a BAFX BAFX3370 sound level meter to determine the calibration offset to be -9 dB for the internal microphone and -5 dB for the Dayton Audio iMM-6 measurement microphone on my device. The combination with or without the iMM-6 tracked very closely from about 40 dBA to 90 dBA SPL using a pink noise source and studio monitors. Under 40 dBA SPL they didn't track, and I wasn't able to provide a pink noise source above 90 dBA SPL.
"Show Musical Notes" I dont see note names anywhere. If you mean Hz, that's Hertz, not musical notes. You have to deactivate tactile vib-on-press for key press in-app, all sounds and vibe must be off. Maybe put Cal Finish button on screen?
Not just directly what is presented but what can be dirived with data analisys. This is a very serious and usefull app for any audio geek or professional.
Bin Tontechniker, und auf die schnelle braucht man nur dieses Tool. Klar, professionelles equipment wird es nicht ersetzen können, aber für den Preis top! ps: looking for cursors in the spectrum view!! that would be useful!! ;) edit: OH MY GOD! you really did it!! where is the pay-double-button?? :)

Excellent RTA with some extra features like RT60 to help getting a room's acoustics figured out. I am an audiovisual engineer and it has helped me greatly when I do that have the NTI around. Best of all, it is extremely close to the accuracy of it's professional counterpart. HIGHLY RECOMMENED!!!!!!
