I have always found using F5 in windows notepad to generate a time stamp very useful, that I can copy and paste into another application. I could not find a good way to do this in Android. So I decided to write an simple quick App to do it.
Here is it is and it does just that. Hopefully you will find use for it too. Let me know any features you would like, and I will try and add in next release.
Great for logging medical information. Help log prescriptions taken times, blood pressure taken times, blood sugar taken times, etc. I found it especially useful logging medical information after my wife's double lung transplant.

No indication of how to customize in advance setting. I'd like to add the day of the week to the end, such as M Tu W Th etc, or Mon Tue Wed etc.

Works very well BUT I would like a widget so I can copy the date to clipboard without opening the app.... so time is saved with just ONE tap then I can paste wherever I want.

Beautifully fills a need in the Android universe. A quicker way to open the app & put a timestamp in the clipboard would be very useful. Maybe a taskbar icon or floating bubble.

Date and time stamp generator. One click in app to copy to clipboard for use. Not the most ideal way, but the best that's available for free.

Yeah, I also deeply miss the PalmOS date/time stamping functionality. This app gets really close and indeed has pros of its own such as allowing to choose separators. Go take a look at the online help chart, this is a very skilled developer :)

Thanks for introducing hyphens and underscores. Now time stamps can easily be part of filenames too. Please also make the App available in Notification bar so that it is readily accessible.

Finally I found time stamp that can be copied to clipboard.

Wow, so far this is great. It needs 2 things. (1. To automatically generate the current format setting and copy it to clipboard when push (without holding? the button) [or a separate Settings button] and (2. Then make that button hover and transparent). Really 5 stars already!
