EML Viewer Beta for Android
Great! Does what it says. Plugged a very needy gap.
Good app. Bummer is that you have to open it from a file explorer and not directly from the email
Samsung galaxy s fascinate v2.2.2. Won't open .eml file from email attachment or file directory.
Just shows an ad
Works about as you'd expect. A little slow to load, though. Definitely need to add ability to view attachments to .eml.
This app just saved me a trip to the office! It does exactly what it said it would do and I don't mind the ads. Thanks!
Installed it on my Samsung Galaxy S. Not able to open any attachment directly from mail or from file explorer. Uninstalled it.
It does open .Eml files.
Works well for me on SGS2 with .eml attachments but .msg support is needed as well to give android wider corporate appeal.
Poor UI. Doesn't do the 1 thing I downloaded it to do.
Open attachments would be good.
Does exactly what I need. Opens .eml attachments from within native email client.
Hopefully updates are available soon. Once images are available to view 5*
Please include an option to open in so I don't have to download
No on hero. How do I delete it?
Works as advertised. Why doesn't the default client do this?
Not working on Gakaxy S running GB 2.3.5
App works, does what it is supposed to do. However quite slow
Works good for me. Be useful to be able to get picsvif needed thou..
Does not open eml att in sgs1
Doesn't work
Great job on this app. I was able to open the files with no issues straight out of my exchange account
Works great for opening .eml files saved from Thunderbird with File Manager HD.
Would not open attachment either direct from email or as a saved like. Uninstlling . Samsung Galaxy
Android2.2 samsung fascinate; dont get how to use this. i downloaded a eml file and it doesnt open. It says no application supported -.,-
A must have app for EAS users out there with stock email app. This app seamlessly integrate the functionality of adding eml viewing ability. The only functionality lacking is the ability to view attachments within the eml file. 5 Stars if this functionality is added.
GREAT JOB...WORKS GREAT you just need to save the file then open it using a file explorer in some cases. I noticed many of the attached emails (eml files) didnt have a .eml extension when saved. For this reason, they will not open automatically from email. 1. Save eml file to sd card 2. select eml file using file explorer 3. open file as text 4. select this app to open file with (if you already set another application as default for opening text files then you may need to clear this default app before you can use this app).
On HTC incredible. Cannot open eml from mail, have to go thru file explorer.
Used to work great on my Galaxy S II. Now it quit after last Eml viewer update.
Doesn't open email from exchange server, but can save file then view. HTC Incredible
Waist off time. Did nothing.
I thought this didn't work as I was trying to open the saved to sd card eml files using my "file manager". Using "ES File Explorer" to access the files then they open perfectly.
It doesn't work...I still can't read the attachments .eml
It does. What it's Supposed to do. Scrolling is awkward. needs pinch zoom. Until the paid version is available, it would be nice not to see the ads
Doesn't work for me on SGS2. Not associated with eml files.
The beta software is dated April 26, 2011. Isn't a software update long overdue? The software at times doesn't show the mail body content and original Attachment in the .eml mail.
Used along with 'Astro' file browser.
Can open Exchange Mail attachments and view those. This works now fine on my SGSII as I get a lot of emails within forwarded/attached emails
HTC EVO CM7 - will open eml attachments on emails on my phone, give 5* if no ads

Awesome. I can finally open eml attachments created by brain-damaged Microsoft clients.
