About Fit and Healthy

Fit and Healthy imports and exports step counts, body weight, body fat %, height (and BMI), distances, calories burnt, heart rates and sleep patterns from a Fitbit account into S Health. The app can be set to sync periodically. A schedule can be set so that the app downloads from Fitbit at a certain time of day (for example, during the waking hours).

NOTE: The Fitbit app for Android requires that you have previously owned a Fitbit tracker to view exported step counts.

I needed an app that would help transfer step counts between the Fitbit app and S Health. However, every time I manually initiate a sync, my Fitbit step count reverts to 2680 steps for some reason, which is much lower than the S Health "fit and healthy" count... Could be something on my end but can't figure out why it keeps dropping my step count in the Fitbit app.

I synced from fitbit as per your instructions. It did show up in additional tile. But the total steps on top of S health remained same. How can I make the total steps include from fitbit. Also, in together, (challenges) does it include the fitbit steps or not? (update) Getting to know the app better. Thanks.

The way this app exports data from S Health to Fitbit is generic and poorly done. This is probably a limitation on Fitbit API, these limitations are not clearly stated and not worth $6 cost. Data exported to Fitbit cannot be used for challenges or friend leader board which was entire reason to buy this app.

Wow! I've been looking for a way to use my existing Samsung Gear and phone which records my steps, and import the data to Fitbit. I use the Aria scale to track my weight/body fat as well as input food into the Fitbit app tracker. Now I have steps with real calories burned imported into Fitbit from S Health! Genius!

Installed to sync steps from FitBit to S Health on a friend's phone and it works as advertised! Probably will start using it if/when export of heart rate to FitBit happens. I do hate this proprietary crap world we live in, so this app is fantastic. Fight the man!

by R####:

I've got the steps added to S Health, however I cannot get them to show up in FitBit. I thought it would show up separate like in the S Health app. I think it might be adding my steps from my old FitBit and the Gear S2 together (since I just switched devices today) however the step count is inaccurate through the FitBit app compared to what shows on my watch. My overall goal is to share the steps from my Gear S2 with FitBit so that it will share with My Fitness Pal (S Health is not compatible with MFP).

Updating review to 5 stars. Developer contacted me several times to work through issues.

If you are looking to sync between FitBit and S-Health, then this is app to use. I've tried a number of other methods, but they really haven't been that good. I'm using the app to push my FitBit Heartrate and Sleep across to S Health. So why not 5 stars? From a user experience, there are a couple of things: - its a little finicky to get going (because of apps requiring authorisation for each item, because of the need to open the Fitbit website and the S health app etc). I can understand that 99% of this is outside of the authors control, but it still makes it a less wonderful user interface than other smart phone apps. - there are limitations on the amount of data that can be exported at once. For instance, only 30 days of sleep can be synced at once "to reduce the load on the Fitbit servers" - which is fine, but when a user is trying to sync their history, this is an annoyance (as opposed to, for instance, the app batching into suitable sized chunks behind the scenes). One note - for each category of item, you need to purchase an "Addon pack" at $1.19 each. I'm more than happy to pay that to ensure the author remains interested in supporting it.

Hi there, when I sync my steps, heart rate etc to fitbit, the heart rate doesnt show up and the steps show up as activities instead of the stepcounter that would show up if i had a fitbit device. Also i cannot find sleep data in the app or online. My current device is The Gear Fit 2. I have bought the extension for the syncing to fitbit also. Thanks

Had been a FitBit user for four+ years but recently moved to Samsung using a Gear S3 watch and a Galaxy S7 Edge phone. This app allows me to sync data from my FitBit account to my new Samsung Health account. I didn't need all my historical data but I did purchase the optional in app weight add on pack which now allows live data from my Aria Scale (which syncs to my FitBit account) to be automatically synced to my Samsung Health App. This is great as it means I do not need to buy an alternative 'smart' scale and I can still get my daily weight, % body fat, BMI etc. into Samsung Health. Well worth the few dollars the developer is asking.

Paid the extra $6.98 to sync fitbit n s health n stupid app keeps telling me to scroll the s health permission section. Starts to sync then repeats the same screen, i want me money back

Some problems, on my Galaxy S6 the screen layout is not correct, cannot see the bottom pull down options under the date dials as described on the "About" screen and I cannot seem to get my step count to come across, weight seems to have synced ok.

by P####:

App works for immediate stats, but past data is questionable. I tried importing past data and it added the last month, but nothing more, no matter what dates I picked to sync. I tried syncing one day at a time and an entire year, would not sync past one month ago.

I lost my Fitbit and I am looking at getting the Gear S3. I have a lot of friends with Fitbit and want to keep it. Will the S3 be able to add steps to my fitbit account? I don't want to buy another Fitbit if I can get the watch. Thank you.

It took a little bit of reading through comments to figure it out, but I got it working :-) I wanted to be able to view both my calories and steps at glance on my phone. Using the fitbit widget with calories set as dominant and s health step widget- with this app syncing them every 15 minutes, I can do that. Thank you!

Great app and it's getting better and better! Really looking forward to Importing food intake from Fitbit to S Health as this will be the final link, allowing MyFitnessPal Nutrition to sync to S Helath via Fitbit! Great job Jason, keep up the great work. Cheers

Great app and works really well. Had to turn off the phone step pedometer in order to use Together. The author was incredibly quick to respond to my support questions.

Found this after discovering that Fitbit doesn't sync up with S Health because of proprietary app BS. Got this working with my Fitbit Charge 2. Took a bit of setup (maybe 5-10 min to figure it all out) but I got it working by reading the description here and some responses to reviews. I just needed it for step tracking and I love that it's free for that. Might buy one of the plugins when they go on sale soon. Thanks for the app!

So will I not be able to use the fitbit app with this since I have a gear fit 2? I want to do challenges with friends. Other than that, it's great. A little confusing to set up at first, it status up to date about my steps
