Great app for podcasts, just wish it remembered where in the current podcast I was when I close the app and come back to it in a few days

but could you please remove upgrade link until you get around to actually writing the upgrade?

My favorite app to listen to podcasts. Easy to go forward and backward. Download with some other app and listen with this one.

I still use this on my Galaxy S7, but without an update, it has lost functionality. You have to open podcasts from a file management app, and then go back to that app to delete the file once you're finished listening to it. It use ES File Explorer. This workaround is OK, but an app update would be better.

I use it almost every day and find that it is the best way to listen to podcasts. Only wish the file selector was a little better.

But now it stops playing for no apparent reason While I am browsing Facebook.

This was my ideal podcast player but it no longer works after my Marshmallow update. Support for it is abandoned, so beware.

Straight app. Could use playlist function, but otherwise it works well.

I wish it could remember where I left after the phone reboot.

unparalleled performance. simple and effective. completely essential for long-form audio.

Plays podcasts, as long as you don't use the phone for anything else while you're doing it. For some reason, if you cut away to write a text or whatever while the podcast is paused and then come back to it, about 50% of the time it says the podcast is 20000 minutes long (or something in that area) and won't play at all. You have to click "open file," pick a different podcast, start it, stop it, then click "open file" again and find the podcast you were in the middle of listening to and then click through it to get back to where you were. Ridiculous!

With this player you can play mp3 in background while taking video flawlessly as app has a very small memory usage. Problems with the paid app so don't download it at all. This is the one that's perfect for ripped audiobook and what ever you constructed as mp3. What it is lacking is for a reason so get over it. You can play files from SD cards you just have to learn to get there in your selection. It's free. Once they get there crap together they will be rich.

I take long road trips and I like to listen to long interviews that I download as MP3 files. This app is perfect. It's easy to use with simple, large and effective controls that are excellent for driving. When I skip the audio back to catch something I missed, the screen stays lit for the minute I set my phone's default for, which is annoying for night driving. So I installed Turn Off Screen Plus, which lets me darken the screen with a tap, without turning off the player. Now it's totally awesome.

All of my books and podcasts are on my secondary SD card, but the app doesn't seem to support it. Useless to me.

Looks like it could be a good app but I can't find a way for it to find my sd card.

Would love something just like this except I'd like to have a widget. I don't like opening the app every time I have to make an adjustment. But the simplicity is so nice. I hate all that extra garbage that other apps have.

Does all I need and nothing I don't. Simple and efficient. Dev responds quickly to reported issues. :)

I love that it's very simple, makes skip buttons very prominent, and lets you play downloaded mp3 files (podcasts). I wish it had play/skip buttons on the lock screen. It would also be nice if it remembered the last directory so it's easier to load a new podcast.

Very nice for audio books. Love the option to go back 3 mins or 20 seconds and forward the same. I wonder though if the paid version has a 'play all' option for files with multiple chapter files as in audio books.

I've been using this app for some time on my commute and have always liked the simple interface, which is easy to use in the car. I also love how I can run audio in the background and still have work on other tasks, and it's very useful that the app remembers my place for the next time I open it. Great for audio books as well as podcasts.

Basic, complete and gets the job done!

Almost perfect for audio podcasts with commercials you'd like to skip past. My only wish is for it to remember the folder you last opened. I find myself having to navigate multiple folders to load the next podcast every time I load a new one.

Great app! All it needs is the ability to remember the last folder you were in. Right now you start from the root of your phone every time you want to choose a new podcast.

like watching TV on a DVR, or listening to a book on Audible when the bell rings, dog barks, or other noisey interruption - this wonderfully simple player allows to to SKIP BACK 10 seconds. a much needed but rare feature.

Great light and simple app. Very effective for what it claims to do. If you have files you want to play as podcasts, this is a great app for that.

Downloaded and installed and tapped File Open and nothing happens. Pretty useless at that point
