My Aurora Forecast - Aurora Alerts Northern Lights

I'm a northenlights guide in iceland. And I was ready to give the app Hell. But it's very well made and has very useful info. BUT I have to say... kp rating of 2. Does absolutely not mean about 20% change to see the lights. Kp has nothing to do with probable change. Rather tells you how far to the equator the lights likely go. If you really want to see the lights, go out even tho it's a rating of 1.... they are only closer to the horizon. I would NOT recommend cancel going out cuz of falls information. I've seen hundreds of really intense lights in a kp rating of 2. PLUS it's a forcast. Only week ago I was out on a kp2. Ended up being very very intense and went all the way up to kp5...

As a portable application this puppy is pretty handy. It presents an intelligent image with clear information about your goal, seeing some northern lights. Bonus - using your location, it will send you an alert of the potential of viewable aurora each night. Nice

It worked! I got an alert that there was a chance to see the aurora in my area and sure enough, there was a nice show outside!!
