Rocket Player : Music Player

Definitely the best music player for my needs. It picks up added playlist files so quick. I copy a playlist file to back it up before some edits and the copy playlist is already listed in the app. The recently added search filter bar also makes searching nicer. The only problem I have is with lyrics integration. I like lyrics, but I also like looking at the album artwork. It would be nice if there was a convenient toggle to turn on/off displaying lyrics without the 3 clicks of menuing currently required. Also, why show random artwork when viewing a genre but not a playlist?

Got it to work, don't know why it wasn't scanning before. Possibly because low disk space? Regardless, best player. I suggest unlocking it. It remembers what you were listening and plays back when you connect your headphone or bluetooth. The fact that it remembers where you left off on a specific track or album is amazing, if you listen to 2-3 hour podcasts!

I use this app since years ago, when I first got my smartphone. It was the first Music Player app that I downloaded and I never had to search for another one, since this one has everything that I need. Some times one or two bugs come with the updates, there was one time that there was a problem where the app got completely stuck and the music would only stop if you force stop the app and it's services. But now everything is fixed and I have no complaints to make. Thanks for this app!

Liked the update but 1) The art problem still persists. If two or more songs of the same album have different embedded arts, all songs show the same art. This is also a huge problem for songs with unspecified album. 2) The color change is nice, but is inaccurate. Sometimes the color doesn't even exist in the art. Even changing the resolution of the art changes the color. 3) Would love other themes with the color change feature but with different designs and textures.

In my opinion, this app has the best GUI, by far. The album art is nice and large. The controls are logically arranged and properly sized. Unfortunately the developers are unable to resolve the asynchrony between the album art and the MP3 title problem. Adding to their woes is a new issue, where you select one MP3 title but another plays.

This is by far my favorite music player, though, I do have a slight issue with setting custom album art [not updating the whole album] on my LG G5! It takes several tries on selecting a picture from my gallery, and only works if I do it very quickly without having to scroll back up in the process! Overall, though, this is only a minor annoyance, given how great the app is as a whole.

Been using this for years now. Over 4 devices. Love the app. Just a few quality of life things I'd like. Can I edit my tabs and what order they appear? Also can I select multiple songs to add to a playlist or delete or tag?

Recently updated the my files program on my samsung s8+. Rocket player fails to play specific music files selected. Album art have been lost and some folders are not recognized....please help!!!!

Hello guys. Awesome player, use it for years, thank you. Unfortunately, there are some issues with Android 7.0: I can't find way to use standard Android lock-screen player controls with Rocket Player. There were no this issue with Androids 4.4. Also there still are encoding issues with Cyrillic tags. Any plans to solve this problems? GL and Happy New year.

Seems pretty solid except two related things that could be fixed easily enough: you are allowed to select which folders to scan, but an automatic scan starts immediately. So, it picks up unwanted folders anyway. Then, it only allows the user to delete content from the device as opposed to only the library like other players. It picks up ring tones, audio books, etc., which aren't too fun on a whole collection shuffle, and which you can't delete as they are used elswhere. I haven't tried the Android Auto capabilities, which is why I chose it. Much better than Google Music Player in terms of playlist import, another reason I chose this. Fix these two issues, and I'll happily buy the premium edition.

Buggy app... I installed this player for one feature that is Auto play music when connected to Bluetooth... And it never works.. No matter what I did and change setting in this app.. But fails..

My favorite music player! Only thing that bugs me: if two different bands have the same album name (ex: Stone Temple Pilots and Baroness both have an album called "Purple") they share the same album cover. Why is it tagged to the Album name and not the actual songs? Just annoying, but doesn't hinder the otherwise superb app! Edit: Album art issue fixed! See developers comment below. Again, best app with best support out there!

BROKEN UPDATE. Android 8.0 with wireless headphones. After update headphone buttons skip forward and backwards 2 songs instead of 1. Same issue with in app controls but only with previous song button: when press skip backwards plays second to last song

This is the one and only app that ive actually paid for on android. (Bought a few games on apple in the past) not that I really wanted the bonus features but for the simple reason that this app is the best damn music app on ANY Operating system and you deserve it. Been a user since 2014

This is an okay music player. Recently, the ads have gotten obnoxious. But my main problem here, and the reason for the three star rating : Your function to edit tags of music tracks DOES NOT WORK!!! App says it needs permission. I grant access. App wants me to find the folder. I point it to the folder the mp3 is in, and the app says it's the wrong folder and refuses to save the tag info! Now I'm stuck with INCORRECT title/artist because the app refuses to do it's dang job!! Please fix this, it's VERY bloody irritating!! Android 7. LG Stylo II.

Good music app, been using it for a few years now but if you have an android 8 or 8.1 device, Bluetooth is almost completely broken with it and has been since 8 was released. No longer works properly with my car or my Bluetooth headsets - does not display artist or track info, forward/back controls from the devices either don't work at all or skips the track ahead/back by two instead. Usually they are good with updates for fixes but these issues they're either unaware of or still unable to resolve.

So music player was working fine but for some reason (maybe due to the update) the song name currently playing does not show on my car radio when using Bluetooth and when I skip the song it skips twice all the time for some reason.I am certain it's not the radio as it started happening when the update hit. OnePlus 3 android 8.0

I'm uninstalling this app the EXTREME LAG!!!!!! is to much . Before the update it was a good app not anymore. Sorry guys

This Is The Best Music Player App Ever!! I love how all of my albums are meshed together under the same album cover. I look forward to purchasing the equalizer. The free format sound is Great!!!

The damn thing keeps searching for music. It eats battery. Has user hostile screens. It flat out blows.

Excellent, feature packed music player. Plays everything I throw at it, beautifully. Chromecast and other features makes it a highly recommended music player, plus support is awesome!

Everything is good but there is share songs through player feature is not present, next or previous by sliding is not working properly.

Doesn't play the music files in storage/file manager after update. Play only in music player

There is a bug that when I press previous button for song then it skip 2 song.

Producing Crack sound in right side speaker. No earphones issue. Fine in other Player
