Should not need root. Android allows non-root proxy hosted by a particular app. Make the app open a device-wide proxy (like the Orbot app can) and tunnel the data over OTG. I will pay if you make it happen.

Good for mini PC TV box. Some apps require WiFi or 3g to work. This app allows me to switch between Ethernet and WiFi easily without pulling the cable.

When I put my IP address in it it won't use it.

This is the best app ever!!! For years I have being wanting to use wired internet cause Dada hates WiFi and now I bought this Ethernet to micro USB and now I have internet THANKS to this awesome app. It didn't work before but that was cause I didn't root the phone. Thanks goodness for devs like you!!! Keep going guys!!

T-Mobile Note 3 - app ui loads about half of what's shown in the tablet screen cap in the play store so you can't see the whole thing. Connected and got an up addy via dhcp. Switched phone to airplane mode to eliminate wireless connectivity. Wired connection seemed pretty slow. Will update with adapter info and more after further testing.

This app doesn't work on my rooted moto 4g. the user interface will not display properly, you can turn on ethernet but it does nothing

Need some kind of special glasses to make out the UI.

Galaxy Note can not diskplay

Good to direct modem connection.

After setup all IP address and exit but not set and not connect.

The app works with Sitecom network USB adapter LN-030V2001 (same as Asix AX88772A - ASIX Electronics). My tablet is not rooted. The speed is acceptable. Thanks for this app.

On my Nexus 7 2013 looks good. On my Nexus 5 no and my Nexus 7 2012 no good. It works but it is not displayed properly. Please fix UI for these other devices.

5 stars! It's great! Allows me to use my USB ethernet adapter to make a "hard wire" connection to the internet/LAN/WAN. Thanks! I've also been trying to find a way to customize the "Settings" UI under Android ICS ver.4.0.3, where the Coby Kyros MID9740-8 did not ship with a feature or support for "Ethernet" and it's controls. Most likely I will just rebuild a custom ROM including the missing portions. Thanks to you Jiramot, for your WONDERFUL contribution!!! I can now use my ethernet dongle RJ-45 connection. My tablet is "rooted".(necessary item) I would recommend this for anyone who needs to connect, but may not always have access to a Wi-Fi location. Thanks again Jiramot! Todd

Didn't work with note 3

Tested on Nexus 7 2012 with Lollipop. It recognizes the network adapter, is able to obtain an IP address, I can ping the device from another computer, but I have no network connectivity on the tablet.

Installs without problems, but after connecting USB adapter nothing happens.

Open it, half the screen isn't there, press on, the window closes and still no internet -_-
