About Virtual Roaming Control
This app lets you to control which network operators your phone is allowed to connect to (roaming). You can select to allow your phone to connect to all network operators from your country or create a custom list of allowed networks operators.
You can decide to block the connection entirely (set airplane mode) or only the data connection when the phone tries to connect to not allowed operators
IMPORTANT NOTICE! Google has removed the possibility of setting airplane mode from Android 4.2 so that option is removed from newer versions!!
This app is specially useful for Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNO) that connect to several real network operators.

Note1: This app only works in GSM phones.
Note2: It can not be installed in the SD as it requires a background service to be run.

Android 5.0 not supported, became unusable. Better support/ development supposed from a paid app. Up till now was great, now just garbage under Lollipop. Uninstalled. LG G3, stock 5.0 BTW: virtual roaming control is obsolate under Lollipop; 5.0 handles intern roaming adequately.

Could also activate airplane mode when not connected to a network (no signal) to save battery

It doesn't solve the t mobile smart share problem!!!!! Still roams unless you tick airplane mode which is a stupid idea by the way. I've tried everything now I'm about to give up :(

Great at last. A fix for tmobile orange smart signal share. Locks my phone onto a single operator. Well happy!

The app I'm most glad to have! I use the "set data off" and a "custom list" and it is working 99.9% perfect. Only little thing is that it allows my phone to connect for a split second to a non-white listed data provider before disconnecting, but as I pay per MB I use when roaming, then I can live with it. Would be nice though not to receive the "you have connected to the internet from outside your country" SMS.
