WICShopper for Android
I was just asking do you have simliac pro sensitive on the formula list.
It helps me a lot in the store's
I used to really love this app, then all of a sudden it lists my benefits as 0 when I've confirmed with our wic office that we do have eligible benefits to use. Wish the app would work again for us!
This app sucks. Took a pic of my wic receipt and it didn't tell me my balance.
Now that the apps Working again its a great app recommend it if you use wic
I love it so easy to go to the store and shop I love that I can just get one thing that I want and that is all
Let's you know what you have left on your WIC card
The best
Scanner won't work even after uninstall reinstalling the app have to maually put in all barcodes. A hassle.
I've enter my card# twice and app is working for again for me. Yay!
Would be great if you could somehow connect your card and the app.
Since update I can now look at my benefits again. Yes
Doesn't have Ohio on the app
Good app, but would be great if you could view future appt dates/time and what documents you may need for that app
App was great. The new update erased the saved card info and it must be re-registered. This in and of itself is not such a big deal but there was no forewarning about the previous data being erased.
Customer service got back in touch with me. There are actually 2 lines where you have to enter your card number. Love this app and it makes shopping much easier.
This is a good app as far as knowing what's left on your account, the only thing that bothers me is when you try to view the product it never has a picture to show you what items are excepted.
I love using this app, but it's frustrating that when the updated occurred, it did not transfer my saved information from the previous version of the app.
Ever since the update, it never transferred any of my information over. Everytime I enter my card number in it won't accept it. It would be nice to have access to what's available to me and the scanner.
When the app updated, it erased my card information and will not accept my card number.
My child just got WIC and they said to use this app to help with shopping. But for starters, my state is not a choice on this app, the WIC people said it supposed to be.
Doesn't cover Indiana WIC :(
They don't have Michigan :(
Won't let me register my card...
It's os easy to see want you got fast.
Very helpful app
Used it for the first time today and it helped so much. For the first time ever I was able to find everything and make sure I was getting the correct items. The store I usually shop at doesn't label all the stuff that's WIC approved. It was always a pain trying to guess. Plus, now I can just look at my benefits whenever which is much easier. Great app, keep up the good work.
Personally, I like it. No more having to keep up with a sheet of paper. Only thing I don't like is it makes me disable my draw over apps, so I have to disable my messager for Facebook, seems to be the only app I have to disable. However I can re enable it after sign in, so I am not really complaining. Over all it's great. I love the bar code scan since so many things can vary store to store.
I would like this app better if I could read what the food is. "Market Pantry 16 oz large" is all I can see for something in the bean/pb/pea category. Not really sure what that describes. Many items get cut off and you can't tell what they are. Otherwise it is helpful when you can find an item you need and see what is available. I also would like to be able to jump down to the brand name I need and not have to keep scrolling.
It shouldnt be my job to go out of my way to get my state to add your app. We are a military family whoch means i would have to get every sate we move to to add you and that seems like too much work for an app that i dont even know i will like. You should have a general user friendly option that doesnt require a state to approve you. At least let us get a list of foods we can or cant get and a list of the stores that accept wic.
If I could see the approved updated wic foods on the app that would be great. Wic foods change all the time as far as brands and what is approved for wic. It would be nice to automatically get that list so that when I go to the store I can tell the store as well. Usually the store is unaware of changes as well which costs us by either not getting it or paying out of pocket for it. For example. .. Publix was unaware that pasta was added so when I asked which ones were approved they didn't know.Otherwise
This app requires you to enter your personal wic card number to "register" in order to function. The state sets approved items therefore as long as state has been selected there should be no need to give access to personal card info. I understand registering card can help with other options such as balance, expiration, etc. but it should not be a requirement. Also there is no search so you have to be at the store scanning Barcode which also requires access to your phones photos and doubles times spent at store. It would save a lot of time if when at home you could search for desired items, especially when you have to shop with young children. You need to be as efficient as possible.
I absolutely love this app! No more waiting in line to check benefits at a register or carrying the book in my purse to make sure Im getting the right brands! And the barcode scanner is awesome! (Those other reviews complaining about access to the camera/media files? Its so you can take a pic of the barcode to "scan")
I wish there was a list I could study of wicable items so I can look in advance. Right now the way it's set up, if I don't have benefits I can't view the list of approved items for that category. Half the time in the store the list doesn't load bc I don't get great service inside. It would be nice to look at home before my benefits even come in so I can go to the store prepared. Also I hate that I have to swipe the new card before they start checking. Most the time at fareway I'll get a girl who's so busy talking she just starts ringing me up before I can even say anything to her! But over all the app and card are sooooooo much more convenient!!!!
Realized they do have other states including my own, all I had to do was put my card number and voilá! Everything popped up. I love how detailed everything is, I'm absolutely happy I found this app.
So happy there is a card and app now, so much easier than checks. No separating of groceries which means getting out of the store with my kids quicker!
I think this is awesome it gives you your shopping list and then the different recipes on here are great! I love trying new things especially with my 3 year old and 1 year old they love new healthy foods too! If you have any more food ideas let me know! This is the best thing for me and my boy's thankful to get wic !!
I Love This App It Tells You Exactly Everything You Want To Know About Your Benefits Great Thing They Have Done. Also You Can Scan Items To See If They Quality For WIC Its Awesome!
This app was freaking AMAZING!! Tells me if I can get item and how many I can get. Except with how many fruits and veggies. Still is AMAZING by giving me less to think about when I am trying to sooth 2 cranky kids and shop at the same time. Just scan or enter in upc. Love love love this app! LG Leon.

Seems like a great idea to have but my state isn't on here and I don't know who my WIC provider would be and I'm sure they if i asked my local WIC office they wouldn't email so at a stand still
