About TwIRCh lite
Twitch.tv uses a specialized IRC server for chat and this connects to your twitch account to chat in any Twitch.tv channel.
This lite version lets you log in and loads the global emotes from Twitch.tv and downloads the list of channels that you follow.
Being the very first release, I hope that if you find a bug or want to provide feedback be sure to send me an email as I will be updating this version and also in a paid version with lots of features soon.
In this version chat and viewer lists are available along with the ability to chat.
In the chat section you can scroll up to view anything that was said previously while pausing the autoscrolling feature. A button will pop up to scroll all the way to the last chat entry and will restart the autoscrolling.
Tap on any chat entry and the username will pop into the text box to reply to them.
To exit a channel tap the "Leave Channel" in the action bar or simply hit your back button.
To enable large text, open the application from the app drawer, click on the menu overflow icon (or your menu button if you have one) click on settings, and then click the switch to turn large text on.
It maintains connection to the internet to be able to chat so a steady connection is advised, Wifi being highly suggested.
This version doesn't have an emote keyboard to insert global emotes, however the global emotes will show up in chat.
Click on links in chat to open them in a browser.
This will keep running in the background if you leave it without hitting the back button or "leave room" so that you can go to other applications without missing chat.
Known Possible Bugs
-Large viewer lists don't always load correctly. (ie over 2000 viewers)
-In chats with large viewers, chat might freeze for a couple seconds

I've been using this app to chat while watching Twitch streams full screen on my Xbox. It's great.

While it is fantastic that you can watch the stream on TV and have just the chat on your phone, with out coloured chat it is really hard to read. Added to that there is no auto-complete on nicks.. This makes anything but general chat nearly impossible. This feature is a must include for the app to be usable. Colours would be a close second. Icing would be a emote system. So the app is a great start but there is a lot to add b4 it is usable.

Can't wait for full version. This app is not battery intensive. And doesn't make my phone run hot like tchat does. Keeps me in the chat so I don't miss a thing unlike the actual twitch. Any way to add timestamp in chat comparable to chatty for desktop?

Great feature set, lock screen doesn't disconnect the chat, i like that. Downloads emotes and following list. Persistent login prevents logging in headaches and keeps multiple tokens.

Simple, does what I want it to with no annoying ads. I know you're trying to keep it as light as possible but having usernames be different colours might make it easier to follow the chat. Just an idea! Good job.

App crashes every time while downloading global emotes, with no option to retry, so my treasured Kappas don't show up. Everything else works.

Since my phone updated to 6.0, the chat only fills half the screen and it doesn't download emotes, tried reinstalling. App crashes after signing in.

Was having problems connecting, did auth token update and didn't fix the problem. Had to reinstall, works now but hopefully won't need to reinstall to fix the problem. Great feature set, lock screen doesn't disconnect the chat, i like that. Downloads emotes and follow list so it's easier.

Love it, but not perfect. Want to be able to use tilt to wide mode etc BC of charger cord port issues and I want a indicator if app connected chat channel stream (video) is Live or Offline. Bug, app doesn't prevent auto sleep mode when just viewing the app.

This app is exactly what i was looking for. There are several issues that need to be addressed but are expected in such an early stage of the app. WELL DONE, i hope you develop this much much further because this app rocks!

If you could add multiple colors for username, would be more than nice! Plus a viewer count (srsly this is easy to do as you just count the viewer list), the application would be prefect! That's easy stuff and you can quickly develop it :)

Wish it had the ability to kick/ban people as needed for better chat room control. Could also use a way of showing a list of people who are in the room too
