So many buses are not shown. Time not accurate

I'm a daily user of this app. In my opinion, it's the best in class, at least for the Puget Sound region. Responsive dev team, too!

Search option doesn't work. Useless app

Q70%

This app just works. It's designed well, intuitive, and easy to use. It has revolutionized how I use transit.

Most useful app on my phone,I wish I would of had this forever ago

It had been helpful when it had been showing the buses in my area and not tampa

Is rarely accurate for Seattle area.

Very nice

This app has been a very useful tool for me for years, its accuracy varies based on the volume of people on the bus but it is still very accurate. I would however like to ask that it stops asking for my GPS. I know the GPS function is very important to this app but with my phone I tend to turn off the GPS so I don't drain the battery. Lately it's been asking me to turn on my GPS or not with a option to disable the prompt and I would like it if it could be disabled. I don't need a prompt I just need the app to be patient and in situations when my battery is low, to function without GPS active using the last loaded map. Still a huge fan just disable the prompt for GPS and I would put five stars no hesitation.

Q70%
by Q####:

This app is great. If you want to miss buses that is. "Oh the bus coming in six minutes. Got down to the stop in three. Oh wait it already came. Better walk to an alternative bus. Oh wait there it is going down the street because this app is trash. AGAIN." The paper schedules never let me down multiple times like this. Don't let the "for an older version" label deter you from this review. This has happened multiple times over the last couple years. Done with this app for good.

I don't have a car, so I rely on PT for all my transportation needs. OneBusAway has made this very convenient, and I use it many times per day. It has never crashed or caused problems, just gives me the information I need quickly and without fuss. I also love how feature-full it is: it allows me to set reminders (that can repeat on certain days!) for particular bus or route, and even has a left-handed mode that puts buttons in more convenient locations for left-handed operation. In short, I absolutely love this app. Oh, and did I mention that it's free and open-source?

K70%
by K####:

This app never works. It doesn't let me look up stops and my starred stops never work. I use this every day and I hate that I have to use it. If there was a different app I'd delete this one in a heartbeat.

Q70%
by Q####:

What happened? Used to be good. Now there's so many issues. Recently the bus times have become much less reliable. The app is generally slow to load. And the GPS is not following my movement at all.

X70%
by X####:

Works decently well, but has a serious problem in that it will jump from telling you a bus is 20 minutes delayed to arriving in 3 minutes in the course of 5 minutes. Can give a general idea of arrival time but don't count on it to be accurate.

I70%
by I####:

Sometimes it's helpful but sometimes it's AWFUL. This app had made me late so many times by relying on it. It constantly tells me that a bus is scheduled for a certain time, but the next time I refresh the page it tells me that the bus has already arrived even when no bus has shown up. I'm interested in it when it's improved, but right now it feels like I can hardly get anywhere using it.

Q70%
by Q####:

This app does not show the symbol/icon of the bus traveling in real time . It only shows bus stops and arrival times. . This app needs work

V70%
by V####:

This is super useful for any bus travel in the greater Seattle area. It's not always the most accurate if routes are delayed, but overall it's great to find the right bus stop (esp at a transit center) and route. The search features are helpful when you're not sure about a bus route, as well

After having everything set up...it froze. Says my "shortcut links are out of date." I'll give it a few hrs to see off everything returns to normal.

Q70%
by Q####:

A very handy app for a commuter like me. Thank you. I like that Location Services does not need to be active to view starred routes, etc. I like that I can see if a bus passed recently and real time updates on early/delay intervals.

Q70%
by Q####:

Everytime I check a route it'll say it's like 3 or so mins away and then when the bus isn't here I check it again and it'll say it's like 15 mins away it's irritating especially when this is my way to be on time to school they changed the times for the bus I ride every day and it's still always super late

Q70%
by Q####:

The times tend to be very inaccurate, and the bus times often fail to update properly, even with a very strong connection. It will say that a bus is x minutes late, only to never show up!

Q70%
by Q####:

This app is wrong about bus times almost every time. Useful for finding stops but they should do away with the times if they can't get it right.

Q70%
by Q####:

This has been extremely useful for getting around town. All it needs now are the route timetables (like on the website) and the ability to save planned trips (plus a "submit" button instead of it automatically routing the trip as soon as you enter the here and there). It'd also be nice if instead of "Inbound" and "Outbound" it said the route name/destination.

P70%
by P####:

fairly accurate but for those using this in the Puget Sound area and using this app to take the 500 bus from Fife into Tacoma, you might wanna exercise some patience even if you've been waiting at a particular stop long before the bus' supposed arrival time. Even the arrival times in the printed manuals here don't account for I-5 traffic so try not to have any serious expectations of accuracy in that regard.

Q70%
by Q####:

I used to use this all the time when I needed to find stops so I could get to school. It stopped working months ago, it won't even pull up the stops anymore.

Q70%
by Q####:

It use to be awesome down to the minute. Now it stops all the time and you have to uninstall & install over and over. It's not worth the trouble.

Q70%
by Q####:

Didn't bring up all the busses, especially the one I normally take. Written directions are not straight forward. Maybe I'm conditioned to Google Maps. Either way, this app seems more complicated than it needs to be.

T70%
by T####:

Ever since they switched the buses around and got rid of some in tampa, this app hasn't really been that reliable. Sure it's right sometimes but it's been wrong more. Until they get this mess sorted out I am giving this a 3 and I am staying away from it until I see a damn update!

Q70%
by Q####:

Use to be good now some routes don't show up anymore and yet the buses show up. Would be nice to see what buses are arriving I thought that is what its for.

Q70%
by Q####:

Need to bugs. It says i left the area very unhelpful. Ànd when i go to click bus stop in my area it wont let me. It thinks im in tampa when im in saint Petersburg. Waste of my time.

Q70%
by Q####:

It doesn't show what time the bus will get there and it says no arrivals for the next hour and five minutes but I checked the bus route paper and it's not coming til the next day. I checked this after 8pm on a Sunday night

N70%
by N####:

Told me a bus was coming in 30 min so I walked away to wait and it ended up coming in 5 I had to wait in the cold rain for an hour

Q70%
by Q####:

Generally a very useful and reliable tool for navigating Seattle's metro and I use it routinely. Shows real-time arrival times on most routes, and scheduled arrival times for the rest. My only ding is today it hasn't been showing/loading the stops anywhere on the map. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but to no effect. I assume this is a temporary glitch and will be corrected shortly.

Q70%
by Q####:

Need to be able to see most common route and figure out what time I need to be at the stop to get to my destination tomorrow morning. Other features are great but this one is by far my most common use case which is hard to do currently. Otherwise the app is awesome.

Q70%
by Q####:

Learning the hard way that OneBusAway apparently just doesn't work on Holidays? I understand a disclaimer that schedules may be affected, but shutting down the entire app seems insane.

Q70%
by Q####:

Useless--no, Worse than Useless with Pierce Transit. It may be the bus system's problem . App is inaccurate and fanciful on bus departures and arrivals. Not dependable.

Q70%
by Q####:

This app is rarely accurate when it comes to wait times for buses, which kind if makes it no more useful than a bus schedule.

C70%
by C####:

Used to work good enough for a 4 star rating but after the latest update bus stops can no longer be found/detected which makes this app completely useless
