Alarm Clock Extended for Android
At the moment Alarm Extended allows you to schedule repeating alarms on certain days (eg. 7:30am on Mondays and Wednesdays).
You can also schedule a once off alarm which will occur at the next instance of the selected time. For example if the time is 1pm and you set a once off alarm for 2pm it would go off in one hour. If the current time was 3pm though, it would go off in 23 hours.
When an alarm is triggered it will bring up a screen that says 'Alarm!' and will play your current alarm as set in the android settings and will vibrate the device as well.
Press on an alarm in the main screen to access the edit alarm screen. Long press on an alarm to bring up a menu with options to edit the alarm, turn if on or off or delete it.
In the edit alarm screen, it will automatically save when you leave the screen (press the back button etc).
There will be more features added over time! Potential features will be the ability to select a different alarm tone for each alarm. Another function I want to implement is the ability to extend/or bring forward the next occurance of an alarm by a small increment (say half an hour). This means that if you have a repeating alarm set for 7:30 every Wednesday but for some reason you want to wake at 7:00 you can set the alarm to fire at 7 for that one time without changing the alarm time for any other occurance.
It is completely free with no ads at this stage. Once more advanced options are added there may be a paid version as well, with this free version only having limited access to the advanced options.
As this is still in early development there may be bugs. If you encounter any then send them to android@joshwebsites.com
