About Ear Training
Ear Training is designed to help music students prepare for conservatory exams. The app will never repeat the same sequence of intervals, chords, or cadences. This avoids the repetition that often results from using standard ear training books. The same interval/chord/cadence is repeated when an incorrect answer is selected.
Both increasing and decreasing intervals may be tested. Chord inversions are included. The app is able to generate hundreds of unique cadences by considering a variety of different chord progressions, SATB arrangements, and keys.

I've been playing violin for four years, and I can play most songs by reading music, but I want to know music by ear so I can play songs that don't have violin sheet music. So I'm looking at apps but this one isn't helping. it's asking about intervals, is there something on the app that teaches you the different kinds? Because I haven't done this in orchestra yet. I don't have a clue what the word tritone even means. Or cadence. We've never played chords. Do violins have chords? Is this high school level?
