Quick Add - Calendar Events for Android
Ads removed but play store is still saying that app contains add.
Can't read pm. Have to use 24hr format. Can't handle month and day using numbers.
Google calendar is good but a little slow. This app saves you a lot of time.
Would be great if I could use the abbreviation "tmrw" instead of having to type the whole word...
Does not support latest update of Google Calendar (specifically the execute add event command)
This app is so simple but saves me so much time and energy. It truly is amazing!
Superb app.
Worked awesome until I threw this at it, "Joey has a
The idea behind this app is exactly what I was looking for to integrate with Tasker so I was excited to try it out. Adding an event is extremely easy, especially integrate with Google voice. However, the ads are ridiculous. I tried for a minute straight in the settings to just change the input method, which is a single click, and couldn't because of the constant full page ads popping up. I'm giving two stars for now, just because it is a good idea and simple to use. Fix the ads and I'll gladly give five
הרעיון טוב אך יש מה לשפר התמיכה בעברית מוגבלת. והאפליקציה די פרימיטיבית.
Makes adding appointments to the calendar very quick and easy via voice. This is the one to get.
This app makes using my calendar so easy! Just speak the appointment, confirm and add. Be sure to go to settings and turn on the confirm option to avoid erroneous entries.
This is a simple, yet such a great app! One thing which isn't clear is how to select the calendar the event will go to. However once I realised you can do this through the event confirmation I thought it was solved, yet there is a bug as no matter what calendar you choose it still goes to your default, so until that is fixed it will be three stars
Great app have been using it ages. Never lets me down and it's so easy to add quick appointments. Bought it just to support the author.
I need to know which calendar quick add is currently using.
Quick inserts to calendar on the fly, just what I needed. THANKS :D

Simply its just what I needed
Nice app. Super easy to use. And its accurate. Wish there was a bulk add feature that would take a text file and add each line as a new event.
Very useful
But has bugs: "Dinner every Monday" translates to "Dinner weekly"on Sunday. And "Dinner every second Monday" to "Dinner nd" 14.00 14 July.
I bought it months ago and it's one of the most convenient apps I used.

Try it, you will love it
Alternative to quick event app.
Great for dropping in quick calendar events without leaving your homepage. I'd like to see it registered as a calendar program so when I click on my calendar widgets I can choose it as one of the programs that opens.
We'll see l over it so far
Really great for adding calendar events on the fly. Can the extra padding on top and at the bottom of the widget be removed?
All I ever wanted and needed I've found at last. Thanks. Also perfect for integration to Tasker. If the author can integrate as an add for Tasker I am pretty sure he making more bucks than the silly ads.
Similarly to Dr. Appche's 'Quick Event' app, Quick Add for Calendar Events enables you to get your appointments and events into your calendar quickly and easily. My review is based on the voice control function of the app, as this was my focus in seeking out such an app to expedite calendar use (and thus encourage me to use my calendar more!) and of the offerings available, this one is superior. At first blush, it handles natural language better (eg. "Dinner at Dad's the day after tomorrow at 6pm" didn't trip Quick Add up, but did the aforementioned 'Quick Event') and has a cleaner, more pleasing interface and design choices. I especially like the ability to set default event reminder times to one I choose (3 hours gives me time to look at and hear my phone and time to get where I need to!) and the option to select default input type on launch removes the step of hitting the microphone button to proceed. As I personally have it setup, the steps are: 1. Tap the Quick Add icon 2. Google voice recognition pops up, ready to receive 3. I say "Dinner at Dad's at 6:00 pm the day after tomorrow" 4. Quickly view and edit as necessary and press Save. (Optional) Outstanding.
Ads suck monkey balls.

Very robust; the "bugs" seem more like Eurocentric design choices. You have to spell out the month because it doesn't understand American-style month/day numbers. Worst of all the "automatic AM/PM detection" defaults everything to PM. All my appointments are in the AM. On the plus side, it is very good at the "every other Wednesday" stuff. Drop-down notification is great. Customizes the default reminder time much better than most similar programs; you can say 150 minutes to get 2.5 hours warning.
