জরুরী জিকির সমুহ

জিকিরের অর্থ স্মরণ করা, মনে করা, উল্লেখ করা ও বর্ণনা করা। ইসলামি শরিয়তের আলোকে জিকির বলা হয়- মুখে বা অন্তরে আল্লাহর পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষণা এবং প্রশংসা করা, পবিত্র কোরআন পাঠ করা, আল্লাহর কাছে চাওয়া, তার আদেশ-নিষেধ পালন করা, তার প্রদত্ত নেয়ামত ও সৃষ্টি নিয়ে চিন্তাভাবনা করা।

আল্লাহ তাআলার স্মরণই হচ্ছে জিকির। তা হতে পারে নামাজ আদায়ের মাধ্যমে, হতে পারে তাসবিহ-তাহলিলের মাধ্যমে, হতে পারে দান খয়রাতের মাধ্যমে। আল্লাহ তাআলাকে যে যেভাবে স্মরণ করবে আল্লাহ তাআলাও তাঁর বান্দাকে সেভাবে স্মরণ করবে। কুরআন ও হাদিসে তাঁর প্রমাণ পাওয়া যায়।
