Tender - Social Food

The old versions of Tender were great, I would scroll through recipes throughout my day and cooked lots off my cookbook. Now, however, the app is different and very broken. I don't understand why it was made into basically another social media, but that aside, my main issue is I am unable to view recipes. It says there are no more recipes for me to browse through, which is not true. And the rare occasion when I can go through new recipes, it shows me the same 3 or 4 a few times over and then runs out.

I used to love this app for finding new recipes to find... Now it doesn't even work! I open the app and get nothing else but a loading screen. I'm sp disappointed ????

Will not work since update what a disappointment. If it wasn't broken why fix it. Sad to have to uninstall this one I really liked it.

I hate it since the update. All I see is a white screen. Lost all my saved recipes.

couldn't reset my password so i uninstalled and reinstalled and now it doesn't work period. used to be my favourite app

Nothing loaded after waiting several minutes. Even tried deleting and downloading again. Still, nothing.

After the tutorial it just simply doesn't work. Long ago I used and liked it but this has to be fixed

This is the best thing that's ever happened to me, no exaggeration.

The new update is terrible, I actually liked the app before this but now I'm uninstalling. The new interface is way too focused on the social media aspect- it's a completely different app and so not what I want or need. If I wanted to see what my friends are eating I'd look on instagram, if I wanted to see the recipes they're excited to try I'd look on Facebook. What I do want is to see a lot of interesting recipes in rapid succession and actually be able to look at the ones I saved in my "cookbook".

HTC M8 The UI seems completely broken. Can't access "cookbook", can't exit without force closing, can't go 'back' when in in the social 'make a post' screen, words overlap on images when swiping... it's just not good. This app needs a bit longer in the oven before I can submit a higher rating.

I really liked this app because not only is it a play on word for tinder and is designed the same but once you choose the meal you like you can get the recipe to make it

It is giving me instructions on how to use the app but its stuck on that. No option to do anything else.

I love the app but with the ones we saved, in your next update, can you let us categorize it? So when we want to pull it up it can be in that specific folder.

This update is awful. I want a recipe app, not another stupid social media app. Everything is much harder to use. Can't find anything very easily because they changed the names of everything. Can't view all of your tags. Can't scroll through your cookbook without opening seven or eight recipes. Can't get rid of all these dumb featres I never asked for.

I downloaded this app twice, deleted it once...it gives me a black screen most of the time....extremely inconvenient! And I tried to save a recipe, screen went black again, etc..... Just... NO!! Won't be dl this again,very discouraged!

I just updated it and now it won't open or work. I just get a gray screen. I love the recipes on this app and all the features but it bombing now stinks!!!!!!

Starts with the swipe through tutorial but there's no way out. Can't get to the app.

It worked only one time for me and then froze!!

But each time I go a few weeks without using it, my profile is wiped clean and all the recipes are deleted.

The Tinder of food, this ain't. While it's a good idea, it's woefully poorly implemented from a user perspective. Finding the spot to tap to actually view a recipe is incredibly hard, though I didn't quite have the problem others have mentioned with swiping left or right - that seems to be relatively loose now, in that you have to swipe the image a significant way before it will trigger a reaction. The buttons to do the same function are very generally unresponsive, and in particular there is no visual cue or even haptic response to tell you the button has been pressed. Ultimately this feels like a well thought out idea that was very poorly implemented, and the developers seem to have a long road ahead of them before they make something consumer-ready. In the meantime the market is open for a competitor to make a similar app, albeit without the name so closely tied with another popular app. Also, the phrase is "in this day *and* age". You should of known that.

I really like this app, I do. But every time I close it, it logs out of my account. And when I log back in, all my saved recipes are gone!! It's happened twice now, really annoying.

You should really learn what VEGAN is before you make it a category!! *Hint: eggs and cheese are definitely not vegan! Plus it's hard to swipe.

I really want to like this app but it's hard. The idea is good but it's not being presented in a good way. I feel like the point of having folders is to keep recipes out of your full cookbook so that the app doesn't crash every time you open it. But they're all still there, with their impossible load times and multiple refreshes. Also, the swipe left/right in the cookbook is way too sensitive. Also, sometimes scrolling through your cookbook will duplicate some of your recipes. Do not delete the duplicate.

It's just an app that lets you order the food to your door - no actual recipes

The folder function doesn't work, recipes don't always load, should be a feature to go back to recipes you disliked.

I like the app a lot. Lots if new ideas for food but when I go to look at the recipe it won't pull anything?! What's the point if looking if I cant make it?

I downloaded it two minutes ago and it won't load at all nothing is working and ive restarted the application many times

I really like the different ideas so far, there's a great variety of food! The cookbook definitely needs an easier way to organize recipes.

Love this app. Can't get enough. In the next update though, can we be able to organize saved recipes. Also ratings on pictures from people who've already tried out the recipe.
