90night: SleepyTime Calculator for Android
I use the 90 minutes sleep cycle and I've used it for years. I used to use sleepyti.me prior to this and this is a much better experience. The automatic snooze creations are great and I very much like it overall. I wish alarms would auto delete but other than that it's great.
better features than most, but having to take the extra step of inputting bedtime when I want it to use the current time is too cumbersome. the odd thing is, it will do this for you when you first run or exit all the way out and restart.
Is very simpleton. No funky stuff
The only problem I have is when I add a alarm to wake up. I cannot remove it. So I have a list of alarms on my alarm clock app.
Actually, this app is good but the free version should get 1 more feature
Super simple super easy to use. Idk how you could not give this 5stars. Asking for more features just seems like you're trying to fix something that's not broke. Itll tell you what time you should wake up or go to bed depending on what you want. Love it and recommend it to everyone.
3 hours of sleep has never felt so good! I was very skeptical! Couldn't see how I wouldn't be groggy and grumpy off of so little sleep! I guess timing really is everything! Love it!
I really love the simplicity of this. It takes VERY little memory. Also, it requires no permissions. And using it to calculate sleep times and/or wake times is great, especially if you're trying to avoid that groggy feeling of waking through REM.
This app is very cool. My only gripe was actually tryn to figure out how to exactly use it. It could be just me but the instructions wasn't clear.
Then this app can help. If it used stereobuttons instead of drop down list for selecting the calculation mode, it would be almost perfect.
I would like the timer to have an "advanced" mode to where the preset 15-20 minute sleep time expectancy could be changed
Its not exact waking up time. But the intervals of snooze alarm helps me to wake up in a good mood.
The app is good but ut would be better of it had more directions to show you where this app is very good to use
Been using this app for 2 years and I wake up every day feeling fresh. Recommended this to all my friends and family.
It works exactly as described with a very nice ui. I was not expecting the ability to set alarms within the app. A very nice surprise.
This simple app does what it says it does. Easy to use and so far I'm a satisfied user.
I use it for both my kids and myself to to choose when to wake them up according to what time they actually fall asleep! For myself, I love to use it right as I'm about to fall asleep and just press one of the choices to automatically set my alarm. So easy! What a great idea! Well done! :)
Wish it had a setting for longer than 9 hours (mainly just for after pulling all nighters/travel/time zone changes)
Helps keep me getting up just in time for exercise and I almost never feel groggy thanks!
I wake up refreshed and not groggy. I wish I had found it sooner.
Love this app! I was skeptical at first but must say, when I use the app, I wake up more rested and can get going much easier. I tell people about it all the time. It's even better now that I have my Note4 and can delete old alarms from the clock app.
I do actually feel less groggy when I use this app. If only my dogs and cats would let me sleep the time allotted, I'm sure I'd be even more rested. Hah
I work all different shifts so when I wake up I'm usually miserable. Read more into sleep cycles and this has made my alarm not annoying. I don't hit snooze and feel better than usual. Highly recommended from someone who has been dealing with sleep issues for years.
I'm a heavy sleeper that easily sleeps 10 hours undisturbed. Waking up at the inappropriate sleep cycles results with me waking up half-zombie like and dreadful. This app helps me wake up with the most clarity to tackle my never ending hw deadlines. Productivity maximized.
Good but can be improved
The extra alarm function is broken. And it's been a year since this app was updated, so... Update, update, update, update!
I check the app at night to see when the best time to drop off to sleep is. Doesn't matter if its been a regular day or I've had a late night, as long as I stick roughly to the cycles, I am more refreshed when I wake. Excellent.
Wow, now I sleep six hours everyday and I'm no longer tired due to oversleep on weekends. I used to do this manually but sometimes I forgot to put the alarm, now is so easy.
I use it almost every day and i like it a lot but i never got the results i want... I expect to wake up freshly after getting the most comfortable sleep; i hope im using it correctly :)
Using the sleepyti.me site was always a hassle because it allots 15 minutes for falling asleep, but it takes me half an hour. 90night allows you to specify the amount of time it takes you to fall asleep and factor that time into your alarms. Brilliant. I also love that 90night allows you to set the alarm through your clock app of choice, so you don't have to chose between 90night and your favorite alarm clock app. Simple, well-designed, and space-saving. This developer is definitely getting a donation from me in the future!
The app bases what time you go to bed on what time you should wake up in the morning, or vice-versa...if you need to wake up at a certain time, then you should plan on going to bed at a certain time to get the recommended hours of sleep. It also accounts for how long it takes you to fall asleep. Twenty minutes beforehand, I entered 22:10 as my bedtime, so that it would wake me at 06:10. I was jolted awake by the alarm at precisely 22:10, which was the time I calculated I should be asleep. I was irked, as I have trouble falling asleep anyways, and just as I had dozed off, the app wakes me up. I tapped the "Dismiss" button and fell back asleep. 8 minutes later the alarm woke me up again, despite the fact I had dismissed it earlier. I slammed my finger on the dismiss button again and fell back asleep. The alarm woke me up early this morning and I felt quite tired and this time, hit the snooze button. It went off again 8 minutes later like it was supposed to. However, the time read 03:10, 3 hours before it was supposed to wake me. I reset the alarm to 06:10. It then woke me up at 05:47. I give up. I am sleepy and foggy-headed today.
Maybe it's psychological but I do feel rested even after short sleep periods when I follow its cycles
Its great, I was wondering, could it be changed to put on s d card, or would that ruin the app and make it unable to pick and set the alarm times?
I wasn't sure about this one but I gave it a try. The 90 minute cycle is a thing apparently. Since using this, I have woken up better and have had no groggy morning by waking up in the middle of a cycle. Highly recommended if you are looking to manage your time to get optimal rest in a short period of time.
I have no complaints. I've been using this app for a couple weeks and the 90 min cycles really works for me.
I think if it has an option for nap it would be even better.
It helps to get rid of maths while calculating alarm.
This app does it work perfectly. Thanks for developers
Learning more about my sleep patterns. Realise im actually sleeping better during the recommended cycles and waking up less groggily.
