Sound Machine

Best white noise app out there. I agree with one other reviewer that if I run it for too long, I can't seem to get it to shut off without rebooting my phone. But since this seems to be the only one that doesn't have ads popping up, it's the one I kept on my phone and deleted many others after one try. So I don't mind the occasional reboot for the quality of the app.

This app works almost just like the machine (which I use at home despite having no neighbors or road noise). I am a very lite sleeper and need to block out as much noise as possible and this app does the trick when I am traveling. It has saved my sleep from many a noisy hotel, apartment, etc. It is very simple, on or off, no fancy beach or birds or whatever. It is just white noise that helps the brain sleep.

First thing I noticed was a tick, any update on if/when that will be removed? I can't use the app with the tick sound. Otherwise works just fine.

Like a Dohm but without the annoying motor sound. Love the simplicity too. I've downloaded and deleted at least ten other white noise apps. This is the one. Thank you.

The app won't turn off in the morning. When I try to turn in off it stops for 3 seconds than turns back on.

Unlike some other reviewers, this worked perfectly on my Nexus 6P. Sounds very similar to a Dohm sound machine and was perfect for traveling when I didn't have my sound machine with me.

I'm keeping this app because it has the sound of an actual sound machine I used to own. However, I can't turn on the app from the app, that is the sound doesn't turn on, I have to go to the play store and open the app from there. You really need to fix that. I have many apps and never had to open them from the play store. You really need to fix that if you want a higher rating

I had to delete my favorite app to get this now I can't redownload my favorite app thx alot

I have a real sound machine like this and it sounds exactly the same but do you mean to tell me the people leave their phones on all night with this type of thing think of the wear on your battery oh well to each their own all I know is I really like my real sound machine and cannot live without it

I like it but it won't shut off, have to force stop the app every morning. Fix that & I'd rate it higher

Pressing the button rapidly breaks the app and requires a force stop or uninstall.

Downloaded but noticed a prominent "tick" spund every 3-4 seconds...uninstalled

I've been using Marpac Sleep Mates for almost forty years. They don't make annoying ticking sound. This app does. Uninstalled immediately after the install and test listen. Fix this and I'll give it another try. Until then, I'll take my trusty Sleep Mate with me when I travel, instead of being able to use an app that could replace it.

We have three Dohms, but this simple app helps when we don't have access to them.

I did like the sound this machine put out and it was simple but about every 30 seconds you can hear the loop skips like it's restarting not cool

There's one button: on/off. No ads. Need I say more...?

Fix the 30 second break in it, and it will be fine.. terribly annoying.. if it has to be there, make it after 10 or 30 mins so the brain doesn't pick up on it.
