AltimeterThree for Android
Used for my Engineering class in High School. Great info gathering.
Bug fixes and updated data features are right on! PERFECT
After a much needed update, the app is fantastic. All the data one could want in seconds after recovery.
I like the altimeter. However the app is horrible. Even after revoking permission to the gps it keeps it live all the time. Even if the app is completely shut off. Uses an insane amount of battery. Please fix it then maybe I'll reinstall
Altimeter works OK but the phone app is very poor. I've lost many flights because the app crashes when I try to export the data. Given how popular the product is, I can't believe they haven't been more proactive in updating the app.
I have yet to get it to successfully download a chart on any flight with my new Android phone, worked much better on iPhone. Come on people, fix your app. Device is useless without it.
This app works great and it has everything!
I have installed the app on Android devices from 4.2 to 5.1.1. It's been mostly successful at initiating and terminating flight recoding session but, after that, it's goes downhill fast. I've lost nearly all off my flight because if you go into the graph function after viewing the default altitude only and ask for accelerometer data, the app hangs up. Subsequent attempts to view ANY of the stored data fail. I've lost nearly every flight recording because of this. Contacting tech support about this hasn't produced a new version yet and I've owned my AltimeterThree for months.
This app works great and it has everything!...except for speed calculations. I would like to know how fast my rocket went. Will give 5 stars as soon as the app gets this important update!
App locks if you want to look at acceleration. Also locked up when email. Tried on several tablets and phones.
Does it calculate speed ?
loved
I love having raw data to play with. The spreadsheet summary is great.
Good app
