Contractor Estimate & Invoice

Great app. Great customer service. The only issue I had was with the credit payment option and they were able to resolve the issue within the day. I'm honestly very impressed. Thanks to Ashley at Joist and Alice at We pay for very quickly resolving the problem.

Best app for making invoices and estimates! Easy to use, client friendly! We have worked with other apps and this is by far our favorite. Will be sticking with this app for our small buisness.

Awesome application. Easy to create​ and edit line items, customers, and invoices or estimates. Easy to share via email or print out the form. You can create a professional looking document in minutes on your phone or computer, and even attach a logo with your company information. Payment directly from the invoice is available through a third party once activated. Thanks so much for this application.

For being completely free, this is a great tool to jave on your arsenal. Just wish some of the notifications would work like before as they do not now, but like i said its free. Great app! Hope they make some minor improvements soon!

Since using this app for payments my email has been hacked to only my customers. Don't use it. After contacting them and mentioning hacked on the live chat. There became no agents online. Do not use.

Great so far, hoping some changes come. Markup for parts only on sliding scale would be great. Need a way to show if invoice has been printed and mailed.

I've been using this app for years. Had I given this review before June I would have given them 5 stars. I thought this would be great easy convent even. Nope not the case at all. I never had a company hold my cash as long as this group has in 15 years. You can't speak directly to the C.C. credit processing you have to go 3rd party through Joist. They arbitrarily change the payment release date, you can not get the same answer from 2 people and no one there is wrong. Use the app for estimates and invoicing but collect your payment some other way.

I really feel that whenever I give an estimate the total price should be on the lower part of the page. Sometimes whenever the customer reads the total price before they have a chance to read the full description of the project they get discouraged with the price. You should give the option to position the the prices on the bottom of the page. Thank you

Used to be great, now it's just ok! A few limitations but you can work around most of them or just live with them. Still better than the alternatives I keep trying, hopefully improvements will happen.

Needs the ability to have lump sum pricing. Most contractors do not solely provide unit pricing. Currently, I don't see a way to create a lump sum price. I use a different program to generate a price for the entire job. Currently, it seems as if you must create individual "items", which are saved. I would give 5 stars if the developers would add a way to have either temporary items or lump sum pricing. Also, it would be great if we could create a library of inclusions and exclusions that we could check and would appear on the estimate. Example - Includes light fixtures, excludes patch back of drywall, etc...

Okay so it would be helpful when putting in your password that you say what kind of characters are needed. I had a hard time figuring out that I had to have an uppercase letter.

Great for estimates and invoices. Link bank account and payment is as simple as sending an email to your client. Fees for payment services are spot on. Love the app and love the fact that Joist is doing more each day to make it even better.

Some people dont have a email address, so please make it so your invoice can be sent by text messages.

The best

I love this app however it's printing ability is sorely limited. I have a Canon bluetooth printer and am not able to print invoices to it. I don't use Google cloud print so I am stuck having to email myself the customer's invoice then printing it from my phone via bluetooth.
