Advanced Silent Mode

Works on a Galaxy Note 3. This does what is needed of the app, but the ringtone change is needed. A previous review response says it's "upcoming", but that was over a year ago.........give us that update already! I would have rated 5 stars, but the slow and or lack of updates causes only 4 stars.

Need ability to set time you want app active... I'd like this only to be applying my policy at night. I don't want to be in a meeting or church and hear it go off.

I was looking for something like this and I finally found this. Earlier I used a free version downloaded from Google Play and it was totally a crap. This is really customizable and works fine on my device. Recommended.

It seams to work, but my alarm does NOT sound while this app is on and phone is muted. This could be a deal breaker.

Love this app. I had it once then had to do a hard reset on my phone. It took me two weeks to find this app. And it is the BEST APP EVER. I do not care about the ring tones, all I care about is when my phone is in muted mode my people that I put on to be able to get a hold of me Could. That is all that matters.

Works well but the ring tone is awful. Please update to provide other options!

I don't have to worry about missing important calls, it has a great simple interface, easy to setup and customise, good for stopping any unwanted calls as well.

Just what I was looking for. An application to filter my contacts. There are many cases when I try to avoid annoying people on my phone :) While at the same time be reachable to others. Beautiful. Fully customizable and this baby will stay on my phone for good.

This app is a keeper! I love how much I can actually customize things. Selecting the contacts that you want to be the exception is fast and easy. Works great and keeps the phone silent, when it is supposed to! What I like the most is that there is also a separate control for text messages.

Where has this app been? I didn't know I needed it until I used it and wow. I travel a lot and keep my phone on silent but I always want my family to ring through. This was just the app to do it. Simple to use. Easy to setup. Only two screens at most. Great value for the money. Get it if you need better control of who is silent or who can ring through.

I am quite new with Android ecosystem and always been a iOS and Mac Guy. Started with Android Apps and in search of good apps to manage my contacts and productivity suite. This app gives me control to block users and keep my cell phone on Silent mode. Meanwhile I can accept text messages and Phone calls which are most important to me. Thank you guys for creating great app, Android really needs app which rock your productivity.

Simply wonderful application. Now I can keep my phone on silent without having to miss those important calls. Set up was straightforward within less then two minutes I was all set up. This is a must-have app!!

I have to say best phone app out there. My phone is always on silent and now I can have my phone ring for important people so I never miss there call. Advanced Silent Mode is an amazing program. it allows the user to create a whitelist of people who can ring even though your phone is in silent mode. This is very helpful for when I'm waiting for a phone call and I'm busy working on a project. The interface is easy to understand and is extremely simple. I was up and running in less then five minutes. This is a must have for my phone.

I was looking for app like this for ages. Finally I found it. Simple and highly understandable GUIs, Bunch of useful options, features like multi language support and multi options for white contact list and call blocking. This will be very useful in an emergency situation at night when phone is silent. I recommend this for all Android users who use silent mode. I got a very good app worth much more than $1. Better than Call blockers and cost is much less. Thumbs up.

This app is a must for anyone expecting an important call. In the first day alone it proved it's worth. Very happy with it.

Actually this can be used as filter. On my android I receive calls even when I add the number to the reject list . Now my phone only rings when someone from my contacts calls me (Now marketers can take a hike). And when I want to receive only important calls, I can choose 'select individual contacts mode'. Exactly what I was looking for.

I was searching for this since very long. And I finally got an app which is worth all the money spent. This is exactly what it claims and I love this. A must app for all android users.

I discovered that this app did not work when I had it on silent in preparation for a concert and the phone rang, luckily before, not during, the concert. I decided to uninstall the app but was still getting the one ringtone that came with the app and this was overriding all my phone's ringtones including "silent" which meant I could never have the phone on silent. After consulting many sites, including the app developers and the Motorola guru I was left with a factory reset as the only way to get rid of the ringtone. Not impressed.

Nice app but there doesn't seem to be a way to customise the ringing and message tones for advanced silent contacts when in silent mode. I would like to still hear my usual tones, but are stuck with the new tones that the app provides. Also, i just want to allow a couple of choice numbers to be able to get through when I'm on silent, but it allows numbers that arnt in my contacts list to get through too :(

Love the concept, but I agree with previous reviewers that choice of ringtones for advanced callers is a must. I have to add that when one of the designated callers calls during a time when the phone is silenced, the volume is pushed to 100 percent. It is almost worse for me to have one rare but important call at ear-splitting volume than 5 at my normal low volume. With headphones on it will flat out stop your heart. Please add ringer customization including volume control in the future for 5 stars.

I am uninstalling and getting a refund until the app has a schedueling option. It is useless without it.

Easy to use, but doesn't work with third party SMS apps.

Unless I'm missing something, there is no way to set this by time. I don't want all my "allowed" calls to come through at all times, just from midnight to 8 a.m. but can find no way to set that. I don't want to be in a movie and have the phone ring. Any help?

I tried this for a few days on Verizon Galaxy S4 and while testing it seemed to work ok. In the following week though I did have occasions where the phone didn't ring for my selected contacts so I can't trust it. Uninstalling and using Tasker for this instead
