Very unstable. Crashes often.

I love it!! I can layer rhythm and lead guitar parts, add vocals and set up a click track to keep it all together anywhere, any time. Song Memo has become a crucial part of my song writing process

Yeah, it needs to crash less. It doesn't lose stuff when it crashes, so it's not a huge deal really. I like that it's just a basic multitrack recorder, which for some reason seems to be impossible to find. Hopefully all the buggyness gets dealt with, because it could be a really handy thing. Also, why are there no export options?

This is the best simple 4 track recorder! I love it! That said, there are some problems... 1) it keeps crashing each time I stop recording or playing 2) I need a meter to see my input levels so I can adjust to keep from clipping and overdriving. If I could adjust input levels the sound qual would instantly go way up! 3) input level sliders should be vertical for better precision...4) METRONOME!!! METRONOME!!!

Force closes when you press stop. Very irritating. Otherwise it would be a great app. Thanks for the effort though.

Works great for capturing 2-Track ideas on the fly. Tks 3&4 introduce compound latency issues. Would also ask for a Wav export.

I can't believe that I have a mutlitrack recorder in my phone. This app is great for song ideas on the road. The implementation of clean track was just what I was hoping for. This is the best multitarck app on the market, pros for making it open source.

The recorder worked once for the very first time, but then after that the thing only records one track. After I record that one track, if I try to save it it erases the track I recorded and if I don't it shuts down and I lose it anyway

Well its the start of something, but I can't say good or bad yet. Its not complete. Not by a long shot. A lot of missing parts so to say. No way to save, mix down, or much of anything. What I see is basically a beta version. It may be nice one day, but its not quite ready yet.

A quick and easy little multitrack, perfect for laying down a quick idea to work on later. Unfortunatly on my S5 the latency makes it unusable. May not be the case on other devices however.

A nice simple layout is let down by latency problems. On first use I found the tracks are not syncronised during playback. Fix that and it would be useful.

I love it,but I want to send it to a friend before I start recording forreal. How do I send it to a friend?

I downloaded it thinking that you could actually upload songs recorded in the app. I was obviously wrong. That would have been a great feature. Fix the force closing and you got yourself a good tool.

I wanted to like this but it. doesn't work well. Feedback issue.

Minimal usability on my Article 4G. Keeps crashing. After phone crashed, app wouldn't start again.

Looking for an app like this for a long time. Its pretty basic & good for rough drafts, +free. Ultimately I decided to pay for Four Track Pro though

I would love to see an option to open prerecorded sounds into the tracks. Would go great with uloops for e ample. Imagine the possibilities... you could potentually record entire songs with just your phone.

Opens, track selection, various options, won't record or crashes when you try to playback. Worse than useless.

My new goto tool for noting song ideas. Does what it says - easypeasy lemonsqueezy - no bells and whistles and some stability issues but all in all an excellent effort considering it seems to be the developer's side project.

It sounds distorted on play back and force closes on my samsung S.

If you would implement a basic EQ that would be fantastic. The phone mic tends to have low end build up.

This is exactly what I was looking for - a simple multi-track recorder. Everything is great but I did notice a lag in playback when multiple tasks are recorded using headphones. Using a Nexus 7 16GB.

Wow. Recording of acoustic guitar played back, sounds like it's been copied through 5 generations of cassette tape. Keep trying. Galaxy S4 Mini running KitKat.

For a free app, it provides a usable multitrack sketchpad. If it had any mix options at all (besides volume and mute) it would even be worth money.

This is a good app and you get what you pay for. Some people want the moon for nothing but this is a solid, basic bit of software for getting those harmonies and multi guitar parts thats running in your head. Yes it needs ironing out but its one guy making this and he's holding down a job and being a parent. So, instead of moaning, try structured suggestion. Could do with instructions for those bedroom musicians who just started out and never used 4 track before.

I'm so grateful that this developer has stepped forth to offer us this rare and useful application. It has some glitches like forced closes and may stop responding at times, but its free and works eventually. With a couple of fixes its easily a 5+ rating app. *Tip*: Record with headphones or the playback is re-recorded and sounds like unsynchronized tracks!

Not perfect. Crashes on my device ofte, but doesnt loose my work, So not an issue really. This does help get ideas down. Very cool. And opensource!! Thank you, helps alot!

Great for what it is. If you expect more than basics for free... than move on. Otherwise a fine sketch pad for songs. Tried it quickly, definately want to try with headphones. Otherwise you can expect leakage which will cause some problems. But nice to have for FREE !

@theUsualSuspexx well basically I have a sk4g modded root oc with all the bells and wistles. This sk blows my sgs out of the water in quads and this is the 1st app that won't run on it. #booty alright for s2 but for a 500 phone we need more then OK lol

Works well! Sound quality is poor and it could do with some polish, but it works. One badly needed feature - mixdown/export to mp3 or wave. Please?

Can't wait until this is refined further, really handy. Would be great if there was a way to export files though. Keep up the good work

Nice little app, but force close all the time when I hit stop on HTC EVO 3D... Would consider paying if FC issue was fixed.
