AutoVera for Android
I wouldn't have even thought of buying a Vera product if this app didn't exist. On a side note it's sad to see how many users of this app seem to think they know better than the dev. If they have better ideas then start coding your own app, or contribute to making this one better. One person can only do so much.
I am one of the few people who doesn't mind the Android Vera app (it's not great, but it works just fine). But I installed AutoVera (and minutes later bought the unlock key) due to the recent addition of Google Home integration with the Beta version of AutoVoice (which I also bought after testing it). I can now control my home automation setup (which is controlled by a Vera Lite hub) entirely by voice, through Google Home (or voice on my phone through the Google Now integration). Very happy with this, and I can now see that I will be using AutoVoice more than I thought I would as well. Can't rate that quite yet, because I'm running the Beta version and you can't rate Alpha or Beta versions in the Play Store.
App can connect to Vera, can read devices from it, but nothing more. Can't event toggle any device, can't run any scene.
Tried again with new hardware and it's working beautifully.
For a plugin? ROFL Uninstall.
POS program that costs money. Yay!
FANTASTIC, AWESOME EVEN IF ONLY I KEEP MY HACKER FROM REMOVING ALL OF MY AUTOMATION COMPLETELY, LAST TIME AROUND ABOUT 4 TO 5 MONTHS AGO I HAD PAID FOR SOME SOME OF THEM, HE STILL DELETED THEM ON ME..!!!?

I've been asking mi casa verde to put links to there devies/scense on the desktop for a long time. Glad someone finally did it. And it seems responsive. At least fast enough to be usable. The vera app frustrates me because it takes so long to do anything it would be far quicker for me to physically do it. Autovera is much more responsive. That being sad this app is buggy. You need to specifically load a list of devices with the autovera app in order to add them to tasker. I don't understand why a user should have to specifically do that. It would be less confusing if autovera downloaded the list when you try to add a task. I wish it could access vera modes (Away, Vacation, etc). You can simulate a lot of what a mode is but it's difficult to use scenes to disable use of scenes that periodically execute. It's also confusing that your first vera is not automatically marked as your favorite vera. Switches can be turned on or off, but not toggled. Toggling would be nice. It would be a much better user experience if the autovera app used a wizard format if there are not configured vera units.
The part of AutoVera which runs as an app on your Vera controller is a resource hog, considerably slowing down response times while installed. The app itself is also not particularly powerful. You can more safely, and easily, I'll point out, duplicate this behavior using Vera Alerts and Tasker to read notifications. As for ibteracting with Vera, find another solution. AutoVera has the typically cryptic UI that is standard for apps by this dev. I use some of his other apps, but this one stinks.
I really like your apps, except for one thing - they are installed as an openable app. How come it's not installed as a plugin?
This is just a really solid app which I'm finding is rare in the world of home automation.
I have the latest VeraPlus, and it's great, interface is nice... However the apps and tools aren't that flexible or responsive. Using tasker to create widgets on my home screen gives immediate responsiveness. And programing scenes is far easier thru AutoVera than thru the advanced options on the controller. Plus, easy to do voice control with tasker, which makes it even better.
Works really well for controlling devices and capturing the status of devices. This enables some quite complex home automation based on location and setting up events that won't trigger when you don't want them to (that's what variables are for). Excellent and really makes vera much more powerful.
Not much support from the developer. .i tried just about everything after numerous searches. too late to get a refund.
I got it working, and it works pretty well with my VeraLite UI7...there are some scene names it just won't trigger, even though AutoVoice is getting them right...but if I change the scene name to something else it will work. I would like to see better documentation...there's only 5 tutorials for specific setups, and the website address posted everywhere that is supposed to be the help site is a dead link. Otherwise, it does what it's supposed to do, I hope development continues so I can hold on to my Vera for another year!
Everything worked without issue until I needed to enable security on vera. Then it would not connect when I was on wifi I contacted the developer and they were very responsive. They have been working to try to add functionality I need for this to work with a secured Vera. Thanks much..
For a plugin? ROFL Uninstall.
Works great, awesome developer who actively responds to questions.
Keeps trying to open with UI5 NOT UI7
It would be perfect if Modes and Geofencing features added
Concept is good, and it integrated with tasker no problem, but it won't find my Vera running UI7. I'm guessing it's probably because I'm remote and it needs to be on the same network so I'll update if/when I can get it to work. Other negative is that the ads are really crazy on this app, but to be fair I'm just in trial mode right now. So far, just a little frustrating, but hopefully it'll get sorted.
Really like what this enables. 5 stars if it had no ads/zwave device upsell and more importantly went direct to local Vera if on same LAN instead of going through cloud always (maybe just for auth step? Don't know). Anyhow well worth the unlock cost! Developer is very responsive and making lots of cool stuff!

I've always entered my Vera username using title case. Don't do that. With AutoVera / UI7 / Vera Edge combo, you need to enter your username as all lowercase. I've said it before and I'll continue hammer on this issue - all of this developer's apps could benefit immensely from having formal, comprehensive documentation. I can't be the only one frustrated with this. Until recently, documentation and support existed almost exclusively as a G+ community. There is now a forum, though it is new and not yet very populated. But, community support is not a substitute for documentation. Regarding the app itself - like many other plugins from this developer, it is quite powerful and flexible, but a bit complex and difficult to reign in if what you're looking to do is make something resembling an app rather than just have a couple of singular tasks that perform a singular function. In my case it took weeks to make something with AutoVera and AutoCast that turns on all the televisions in my house and displays information about what area of the house smoke or CO was detected in.
Great idea, would pay for full version if it worked at all on the newest Vera Edge & UI7+
Love the app however wish it had mode support for ui 6/7. Could use tasker for mode switching instead of Vera's terrible geofencing feature.

Unfortunately the Vera plugin is not compatible with UI7. On the Vera site, the generated Autovera device shows a blank page with no settings or listed phones. Also, the android app sees my Vera after specifying login details but does not populate either scenes or devices after refreshing. I've turned off local network access for security and can only access my Vera through the website. Maybe this causes some of the issues. Bummer..
Countless applications for home automation. Integration with Autovoice and AutoWear allow you to open the garage door by speaking to your watch... for example.
At first I had issues connecting to my UI7 VeraLite remotely. After a few emails back and forth with the developer, the app was updated and is now working great. If you have any issues just email the developer. He was quick to get back to me about how to send logs of the problem and quick to get a fix created.
It works as expected with UI7 and a Veralite. If you have trouble setting it up, try the developer's Google+ forum. He responded very quickly to my question.

Wouldn't work and I emailed support. Fixed within 12 hours. Amazing support and product. A must buy
Works great! Thanks for the fast response and fix.
Developer is on top of updates and very responsive. If you have a problem with the app, don't just post a negative review. Contact the developer and let him know.
This is the first app that made me stop using AutHomation, which is good because it doesn't seem to be actively developed anymore. It served me well for 1.5 years, but now this plugin is my goto since I already use Tasker. The only reason I tried it was to use it along with AutoVoice to do voice automation through a Moto 360. Although AutHomation is free and also works through Tasker, this is a cleaner solution for my purposes and offers more options. It works great!
it's not connect to my vera 3 ui7 dashboard.
Running vera 3 UI5 since UI6 is filled with bugs and certain apps don't work, but anyways app works occasionally it frequently asks to check I have the update autovera on my vera box which I do and its set to update automatically as well... Since it doesn't see the autovera on my box this app doesn't work I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling both app on phone and vera device but no luck it was good when it works though but definitely has some bugs that need addressed

Uses old vera login address, which is no longer valid. Won't let you control a thing.
