About AutoShortcut Pro

Run shortcuts from Tasker or Locale.

(WARNING: YOU MUST HAVE TASKER OR LOCALE INSTALLED FOR THIS APP TO BE OF ANY USE: AutoShortcut will not show up on your homescreen or app drawer. It is only usable as a plugin in Tasker or Locale.)

AutoShortcut is a plugin for Tasker or Locale that allows you to run any of your installed apps' shortcuts.

Usage examples:
- Play Winamp playlist automatically when you connect your headphones at home
- Open specific Google Play book when you go to bed at night
- Create a new note in Evernote when you're in a team meeting
 - By exporting a standalone app in Tasker which contains an AutoShortcut task, you can use your own shortcuts in apps or lockscreens that don't support them, like the stock lockscreen in the Galaxy S3 for example. See a tutorial here: http://goo.gl/9Ug6R

Note: only shortcuts that have been developed using standard Android shortcut creating protocol will show up and/or work. If a shortcut doesn't work, contact that app's vendor.

- Permission to call phone is needed, so you can add a "Call person directly" shortcut in Tasker or Locale

Would like to launch any Autoinput action using only 1-2 touches from any screen. Navigation bar AutoInput shortcut?. Also, Eye Tribe eye-tracking integration for "select-what-I'm-looking-at" navigation bar button to activate AutoInput action (also useful for external keyboard + vertical touchscreen). Thanks.

While the negative reviews are few, the criticisms I've read are completely unwarranted. João has arguably created the most useful Tasker plugin collection available from a single author. He is also VERY active and responsive among his community of users. All of his plugins fill a gap that is either, A: not something you can do in Tasker by itself, B: does something you can already do in Tasker but his plugin does it better, or C: does something that takes a lot more work to do in Tasker alone than it does if you use his plugin. You don't see nag screens when you actually execute his plugins in Tasker, but you will get a little notice when ever you open the plugin directly to modify the settings. Don't like nag screens, but find his plugin useful? Get the paid version for less than the price of a cup of coffee! Support the developers who make your favorite tools a lot more useful (and fun)! Oh yeah, AutoShortcut... it's AWESOME, just like the rest of João's apps!

Yet another great plugin by the developer.

This is perfect to have. Just saw a ridiculous review where someone criticised the Dev's motives. I find that to be an unjustified and uninformed claim. Keep it up Joao! Can't wait for the Wear app ;-)

The apps from this developer are mildly useful. Some Tasker plug ins from the developer are merely front ends to Tasker functionality, free versions with nag screens, and some are actually extensions though none are inclusive such as Secure Settings, for example. I decided to shed some light on this, now that the dev is onto aggressive pursuits of magically tying all these apps together and further charge and selling profiles. I advise anyone to hold off and learn Tasker well before buying from the dev.

For long I've been missing the feature to access android home shortcuts using Tasker. This little plug-in is the perfect solution. Clean interface, simple to use. Perfect.

Super usefull app for exchanging commands and various data between device!

Relatively new to Tasker, and was irritated that I couldn't implement what are basically shortcuts to various apps. I don't want to have to go through a selection process; that's what Tasker is for! In particular, I wanted to access the profiles I'd created in Elixir. Does the trick. The developer doesn't restrict the free version, but this is dang sure worth less than a buck to support him and get rid of the "ad" screen. Check the documentation and his tutorial video and you'll be set.

I see comments on fora regularly aaking for what this does with Tasker. I don't get it. (Maybe it's the American FreeLunch Syndrome). This does, and always has done, exactly what it says on the tin.
