AutoNotification for Android
With this app along with the autocast beta I've been able to make a bunch of cool profiles & tasks to work with my new Google Home. Thanks Joao!! Much appreciated for all of your hard work on these apps!
Does not work at all biggest worthless piece of crap on Google Play
Works like a charm
Can you add a feature for the tiles where you can program a double click action as well as have the notification panel dismiss itself upon tapping the tile?
I'm sure this is a powerful tool but it's very difficult to get to grips with and there is very little help to show you how to use this app... Very difficult to recommend...
Can't test it's functionality without buying.
Keeps cutting my text off :(
It only seems to work for some apps if a specific app is selected. Otherwise, you have to get all notifications in order to sift through them and get the one you're looking for.
Useful, flexible, and feature complete beyond what you would expect. Second only to AutoRemote IMO. The massive amount of options and how they interact with each other can be daunting to say the least. Prepare yourself for a substantial amount of experimentation in order to determine what does what and what effects one option may or may not have on others. If a detailed user guide were ever to be published, it would be lengthy but a very welcomed reference. My only real issue with this plugin is that I still think it has issues with memory usage and battery consumption. For the time being I use the Secure Settings plugin to toggle this plugins notification listener and accessibility setting.
Crap. Not free.
Used in nearly every Tasker project I have to some degree. A must have for users looking to maximize the power of notifications. Replaces scenes for me, data spread acoss dynamic notifications , full home theatre controls, and can start or unlock my car. Couldn't live without it now.
Works great to intercept Hangouts, Facebook, email, etc, messages and have them read aloud.
Together with AutoRemote and AutoLocation, this is one of the big three AutoApp plug-ins in my Tasker universe. Using AutoRemote and this plug-in, it's possible, for example, to forward notifications from one device to another. I use this to forward notifications from my phone to my (non-SIM) tablet. If the tablet doesn't have the notifying app installed, it displays the notification; otherwise, it is dismissed. This allows me to see notifications for apps like WhatsApp, which cannot be installed on devices without a SIM card. This is a more general solution, however, displaying notifications for any app installed on the phone, but not on the tablet. One can even build an entire virtual app into a notification, complete with updating images and buttons that trigger Tasker tasks. This makes notifications a lightweight alternative to something like Zooper widgets.
I send whatapps message from pebble(whatasker), follow by autonotification so i'll get notification on my pebble the task succesful execute. But it only work at 1st excution, after that the notification only appear at my phone but not on pebble. I already reset my pebble to factory setting and reinstall autonotification but the result still the same. Im willing to consider paid ver(vibrate and led) if you can fix it
It's good but it really should not be using 160 MB+ of RAM
Still Alpha? 5 million settings on one form and you can't save while some invalid settings exist but it doesn't tell you which they are and there is no help to choose values. It doesn't need to be this hard.
Worth the price of admission. Somewhat steep learning curve - there are a lot of options.
App works fine, but uses excessive amount of RAM. Over 140Mb for my single profile!
It does something small, but does it very well, with every option I've found.
Great plugin by responsive dev.
Fc using Lightning Launcher, particularly when I pull up My Apps in Play like I just did
The most functional in the play store. They do what they suppose to do, and I can't ask for anymore than that.
This app worked great for what I needed to do. I was very confused until I watched the tutorials on the developers website, now I understand how to do what I was trying to do: Basically, if you want to cause something to happen based on a specific notification created by another app, you need to use the "intercept" function, not the autonotofication function. Pick the app(s) whose notifications you want to look at, then use "tasks" in tasker (if, then, else) to determine what to do or what to display. Don't forget to enable notification access in Android settings!
I paid for this app just to have the ability to auto-dismiss Delivery report notifications on my Galaxy S5. Of course, I'm trying to use this in Tasker. It intercepts the right notification, but it doesn't cancel it!
The notification priorities are not correct. The max has a value 2, but in Tasker you can define a notification with priority 5. Unfortunately with the max priority here, my permanent notifications fall behind other notifications.
So glad this app / Tasker plugin exists! It is exactly what I needed to intercept and automatically dismiss stupid 'Battery Full' and 'Use a better charger to charge faster' notifications that LG decided I couldn't disable on my G4. Minor complaints: Knocked down a star as the design isn't super intuitive and because I couldn't test the app out without purchasing it first; your only recourse it to buy it and test it quickly and potentially return to the Play store.
App was working great but now won't clear notifications?
latest update keeps crashing and constantly spamming notification bar and tasker log with errors "unfortunately autonotification has stopped"
Can you please add an "Invert" option to the app picker option, like you have for package or text. I want to intercept all but a few apps, and choose with the checkboxes the ones to ignore.
Really love using this since it makes Tasker even more automated. One small issue is that the Google play license checker is using 100MB of RAM.
Notification intercept is not battery friendly.
I used this to activate a car profile in tasker when my Moto X gives a Driving notification and it works perfectly
Great features
Works as its supposed to. So many possibilities, just make sure you have tasker enabled before you troubleshoot a profile not working...
Bullet proof
outstanding support.
Great app
Good.
Simply amazing! And I just love the implementation of Google Play achievements, it makes it waaaay easier for a new user to quickly get the hang of the app's many (advanced) features. I would even want the app to STRONGLY RECOMMEND the user to sign in to Google Play achievements at first launch. Great app!

Slightly disappointing... I've purchased this app, as well as Auto Tools. Neither of the two plugins are reliable. The profiles/tasks I've setup that implement these plugins RARELY perform. Sometimes they will- most of the time, they won't. Even when I trigger the task within Tasker's task editor, it may, or may NOT, work. I found an app called Notification Listener which I am now happily using in place of Auto Notification. It works every single time- flawlessly, and I'M USING THE FREE VERSION!! I wish I could get a refund. I'd gladly purchase the paid version of NL, even though I get by with the free, just to show my appreciation for the app's development/developer. I left 3 stars here, because I'm being generous. I truly feel it deserves less, but I know the developer has worked hard on the Auto Apps collection. I just wish I'd come across NL first....
