The app "Whisky Map" is supposed to be a guideline for casual whisky drinkers. Due to that, the diversity of tastes of the included whisky types is being simplified in this application.
The graphic surface (Whisky Map) allows the user to quickly find and pick similar tasting types of whisky. Additional information about distilleries, alcohol content, and origin are provided as well.
Users can add whiskys to the "my bar" feature to create an individual wish list.

Excellent way to keep notes of your whisky's. Whisky's that are currently not in the database can be added manually.

This is a great app - does exactly what it says - nice intro app to whisky. But... suggestions for enhancements: (1) ability for user to add new distilleries and whiskies locally, with option to submit to developer for review and possible addition to app master database (2) expand to include all world whiskies, (3) display user entered tasting notes at bottom of Taste screen, (4) option to export My Bar list to Excel or .CSV file format, (5) option to add pictures of whiskies.

Imho best whisky app, however would highly appreciate if also American and Japanese whisky would be included. An option to add your own whiskies and export the data (for backup) would be very helpful.

The only good looking whisky app out there. However, I'm holidaying in Tasmania and am desperate to add some of the ones I have tried over here. If this covered global whiskies it would get 5 stars. Still a great app though! Also, the menu bar is a bit glitchy when dragging across. EDIT: Despite the lack of whiskies (due to the fact the app is brand new), the interface is great. Having used it for a couple of weeks I have found it a vital app if you are a whisky enthusiast. For now, I will make a note of whiskies I have tried which are not on the app so far, as I'm sure they will be added soon. Star rating raised to 5 after 2 weeks use.
