Red Moon - Screen Filter for Android
Works as intended. Nice interface. Great job guys!
Very nice. Default color settings required some tweaking for me (800k is rather red, also ideally I'd like to set a curve or multiple scheduled changes in brightness /color, but that's just an idea), but I absolutely love how simple and straightforward the app is, and how it only requests permissions if you use them. Would definitely recommend, if not paid then the free version on fdroid, I just bought the app because I wanted to show support :) thanks for making this!
A must have. Thus app has help me get a better sleep schedule, even when I use my phone at night
Because Google won't support night mode on the pixel c
Great filter for night mode.
Has potential to be one of the best blue light filter apps out there. Unfortunately developer appears to have no interest in addressing bugs I reported when I upgraded to Nougat a couple of months ago so I'm moving on.
After upgrading to Android N on my 6p, red moon randomly turns on during the day when I have it set to automatic enabling. Never happened on Marshmallow. Overall a great app, but I hope they can fix the auto enable bug. EDIT: Bug fixed. Five stars!
I dont have to blink once
Best interface out of all I've tried. Also properly dims nav bar and home buttons.
The f.lux for Android. Awesome job
Edit: Sent an email to the programmer Hein Raat. THIS is his response ! "Just refund it if you don't like it, no-one is forcing you to use it" Downloader beware! Doesn't work. Took 2 installs to figure out how to turn it on. After the timer turned it off, it was still running. Using the Master toggle did nothing. Had to restart my phone with the toggle off to turn it off. This app is by far worse than Twilight and I had to PAY for this!
As a f.lux user on Windows I always wanted an app as useful as it in Android, and after trying (and uninstalling) Twilight, I was losing hope. But Red Moon brought it back. It is an awesome app, and works just as easily as needed: no cluttering in the settings, explained configs and just great overall. The freedom of control makes it perfect for different usage patterns.
Does everything the proprietary blue light filtering software I was using did and works just as well if not better.
Worked great on Marshmallow but after I upgraded to Nougat it came on in times it wasn't scheduled or expected to. I created a macro using MacroDroid to control the schedule.
Works nicely!
Great app. Good job!!
Developer is giving this away for free, but worth paying for as a reward for the quality of the app and his responsiveness to people's feedback and questions.
This app has everything you want to customize from how dim the screen gets to what the color 'temperature' is. You can have multiple 'profiles' which are each independent of all others and set them to go on/off at certain times, manually, or at sun rise/sun set. (Side note/disclaimer: I did receive the app for free from the developer, but all my words and views are my own.)
If you're going to give an app full overlay access to your phone, it better be open source like this one.
Great developer, no Ads or IAP, best screen dimming app without root.
It works nice and properly. Thanks dev for the apps!
I'm sleeping better thanks to this app.
It doesn't full my statusbar with the suck icon
As a longtime user of similar apps on PC, this is a blessing.
Easier to use than alternatives.
Does the job perfectly. Better than twilight.
Best replacement for Twilight with an amazing developer!
Awesomesauce+!!!!!!
Works as advertised. Love it
App works great, no problems what so ever! Would without a shadow of a doubt call this the best screen dimming app on the Google Play store.
I love the preview when adjusting the filter and the automatic turn on feature.
Better than twilight. Love being able to setup multiple profile and quick swap from status bar.
Definitely a good alternative to cf lumen for my non root devices! Great work
I am on 7.0 and it turns on when it feels like it I have it set to turn on at 22:00 but it turns on when it is 15:00. Not sure what's going on

Great app, but it keeps automatically turning off
