SMS Text Auto Responder FREE

Doesn't work!! Believe it's only purpose is to harvest telephone numbers so to spam!!. Why? I installed on phone (1) set up with one custom auto response saved. On phone (2) I sent a simple text/SMS to phone (1) which arrived but custom response not sent to phone (2) just the preset response! On the spam issue both phones have received a call from the same 084** number after use... luckily it was redirected to voicemail as both phones (1) and (2) are set to this as call(s) came from a unknown caller/number (not in my contacts)...you may say this is just a coincidence I say not... uninstalling

One of the things that would make this a 5-star app is if you had the ability not to Auto respond Too Short numbers and not just Facebook. Samsung Galaxy S6

It does not bring up single contacts list to select a contact. Sent test message to myself and it didn't work.

I'm sorry, but this app doesn't work

I set only 4 numbers to get a certain auto reply but all my contact that text me get that auto message.... why this app can't do what it suppose to do... ugh I don't this app!!!

Love it. Works great when on holidays.

It's great for when you're driving a car at 4 so great with you don't feel like talking to anyone.

You can write more than a couple of sentences at most to for your message. Like many of these cheap apps. Why? It is unuseful to me. Uninstall.

I've used this app for years, mainly because with the only one I can find that responds to individual contacts. IT DOES WORK! For those having problems, you're prob not saving. Press the add contact button at top, choose contact, edit your personalised responses to sms & missed calls if u wish, & click the floppy disc symbol to right of each to save. Finally, B4 u exit, CLICK SAVE at very top of screen. Don't need main app switched on to reply to individuals...button in settings to change this. Try it!

Extremely unreliable. Starts and stops on it's own. Horrible.

The app no longer works. Reinstalled over 10 times. Still won't work. Emailed the owner a couple times. Zero response.

it never works when there is a multiple person thread and often doesn't work at all anyway. what do you want from an app that gets updated every two years? I have to delete.

I would love the app if it was more reliable. The "manage contacts" area where you are supposed to be able to customize works maybe 25% of the time where as the app as a whole works about 60% of the time. I'm currently using a samsung avant. I'd tell anyone to give is a shot (the free version I wouldnt pay for it) but it just didnt work for me.

YOU REALLY SHOULD AT LEAST TRY IT. AND MAKE YOUR OWN DECISION ABOUT IT. MOST IMPORTANT THING IS FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS. HOW SIMPLE AND YET AGAIN MAYBE ''TOO''SIMPLE. HAHAHA

I've had the free app on my S3 for months now and aside from a few minor issues, it really works great for me. I just added it to a new Samsung phone as it works well and I think it's pretty easy to use and reliable

Continues to report errors when attempting to respond to messages. It did function one time however.

Very limited functionality in free version. Not worth installing. I like the option to use paid versions not being forced to use them.

First of all, I have an LG Optimus V with Android v 2.2 and my phone service is through Virgin Mobile. I have used other applications like this and some work while others do not. The problem always occurs with the automated SMS message: the message just isn't sent or I get a message describing some sort of "generic error". I've figured out that the source is either with the phone model itself or Virgin Mobile. How do I fix this?! It's frustrating! FOR POTENTIAL USERS: I am sure this application works well on other phone models and/or service providers. Try it out. Wouldn't hurt. I hope the details get ironed out and any advice would be superb!

The only part I wish was that it would have a "timer" option that at a "x" time it would automatically turn itself off. That would be a 5 star from me otherwise I love it. I've discovered you can't actually be on a default of a subject to edit it, so you have to bounce around. So it will let you do it

It closes out on its own.. if that was fixed I would rate 5 stars . Hope to see improvements n will reinstall then ...

I cannot get the contact auto responder to work no matter what I do. Even with the paid version I cannot get it to work. Sad!!!! Really needed this app to work.

Certainly helps me to not think about looking at texts while on long distance trips!
