普門品 (聽)

妙法蓮華經觀世音菩薩普門品

又稱為觀音經，為《妙法蓮華經》第二十五品的內容。經文大意說明觀音大士證悟後，集大慈大悲於一身心，照見法界，護持眾生，救苦尋聲，無剎不現身，千處祈求千處現，苦海常作度人舟，眾生應以何身得度者，觀音菩薩即現何身而為說法。故經云：若有持是觀世音菩薩名者：設入大火，火不能燒。若為大水所漂，即得淺處。若漂墮羅剎鬼國、若臨當被害、若夜叉羅剎欲來惱人、若杻械枷鎖檢繫其身、若經過險路，皆得解脫。善哉！讚哉！觀世音菩薩摩訶薩！於怖畏急難之中，能施無畏。經亦云：若有眾生，多於淫欲、瞋恚、愚癡，常念恭敬觀世音菩薩，便得離欲、離瞋、離癡。由此可知，觀音菩薩與十方法界眾生，因緣殊勝，若能一心稱念觀音菩薩名號，瞻禮恭敬供養，福德無彊弗屆。
