Share GPS for Android
More of a question. Galaxy S7 running Nougat. I have Share GPS installed. I'm using Gps Gate to interface to my GRLEVEl3 weather radar program on my pc. I can get it work but when my phone display turns off, I lose the gps fix and gps gate turns red indicating no data coming in. I've checked to make sure share gps isn't going to sleep when my phone display turns off. Can you help.
Very nice.... Thank you for your work. Used for telescope with franson gpsgate. Tried TCP ,but UDP works best for me. For easy use: static IP addresses are my friends. Again thank you.
Keeps crashing when responding to restful calls. Bad software.
This app is simply awesome i got all data of gps on my webserver using tcpip .
Really handy and works like a charm, you can automate it a lot if you look into it online!
It. Made me pay for the preim!!! ????
Nice
great app but not workin anymore,my Gnexus with 4.2 not working please fix that very helpfull app, thnx
Bought premium as a thank you. Although it did take me a while to figure it out. Detailed instructions and use cases might prevent future one star reviews.
Great. Simple setup: ShareGPS on my Galaxy S6, putty sniffing bluetooth com port on my laptop.
Does not work
Great App thanks ! However altitude comes back incorrect, all other GPS devices on android record an altitude of around 50m below what share GPS is outputting.... Can this be fixed ? Update- all problems fixed. App works perfectly. Recommended!
I'm trying to send my phone GPS to an Hp touched with Android on it. So far this is the only app I can find that works. Very simple to set up, and nothing needed to be installed on the touched. I'm going to test it a little more before buying, but this looks like it works very well. A bargain for 1.99.
It works
Can anyone tell me how to find the settings menu for this App? I'm using a Samsung SM-G360P, and haven't found an app without problems. (BlueNMEA, GPStoBluetooth, ShareGPS BETA)
I not really sure whats wrong, but not work on zenphone 2. Any aditional link for help for use this app. Keep dev and thanks for make the app.
An gps over Bluetooth that actually works!
Works as described on Linux Mint 17.1 Rebecca
Thank you for this app and for giving something free to the web. Works fine on rooted kitkat 4.4 :-)
Great app...except the gga nmea sentence had incorrect formatting so instead of 52.0 degrees north, I was positioned 5.20 degrees north! Changing to dms didn't help. Unuasable.
Thank you for this app and for giving something free to the web. Works fine on rooted kitkat 4.4 :-)
It took some knowledge of computer drivers and mapping to the correct ports, but I have it working fine on Bluetooth.
works perfectly thank you
Great usb feature!
Works great to provide good data from my incredible 2 to my Iconia. Iconia needs BlueGps avail from xda site.
Great app! Works perfectly!
Keep in mind it is a beta. Was hoping it would send gps data to my non 3g ipad2. While i can pair my droidx to my ipad2 sharegps does not detect it.
Brilliant
Works great!!!
Cant download!!!!
A+ Nexus
Works on Desire.
Niiiice
Had to kill it with task manager to stop the 100% CPU ussage.
Working great with my HP TouchPad.(it doesn't have built in gps) Now I have a 10" GPS system!
well im having problems to connect my samsung s4 active with my acer laptop via usb or bluetooth it says listening but i wont connect, what else do i need to get the gps data into my seaclear chart plotter ?
Two thumb up
If the "Create NMEA" settings is checked, the NMEA strings created has a bug in the creation of latitude/longitude: I live in longitude 121 degrees 5 minutes, and the NMEA string created is 1215 instead of 12105. Therefore my parser mistakes this to 12 degrees 15 minutes. If the "Create NMEA" settings is left unchecked, I correctly get 12105. Correct this error and it will be perfect for my use. I'll give a rating of 5, and in return I hope this bug gets fixed.
Get to the settings page for it? I'm running on the s5

Very well written App. Tested with Wifi, USB and BT on MacBook. Help information available for all kinds of connection (App redirects to support webpages). My usecase is running a python base desktop app getting GPS raw NMEA data. I did not try any other usecases but it fulfill 100% my needs.
