I could not try the app. It is full of ads.
I love it
I paid for the full version but the app now keeps prompting me to buy it at discount and the content is no longer available to me.... Revision: if you have a similar problem a solution is now available. Just press the buy now button and the app will make the contents available and inform you that you have already bought the app. Revising the star ranking to 4.
On note 2. Good app but the Chinese-English translations are questionable and it keep crashing.
Here is how to set it up in English: 1. Open a web browser window on your device or PC and find an online English to Korean dictionary in order to see what the word for "English" looks like when written in Korean. 2. Navigate the main bar of the very first menu on the home screen of this App, which is apparently asking you in Korean which language you want to set up the App in. Look for the Korean word for English (I believe it is the second line down -- double-check against your online research). 3. Click on it and then left click in the area under the main bar, which appears to say in Korean something to the effect of "save" (if you click the right bar, it cancels and defaults back to Korean. Once you do these last 2 steps, the rest of the setup for this App is in English. This applies to all of the "Conversation Master" Apps. Sometimes you just have to put in a little time and ingenuity to get a free app, people. Best wishes
Many thanks to Brendan for explaining how to install the app. Once installed, the app has 12 main categories and about 75 sub-categories. Each sub category has several lists of phrases. You can play the phrases one at a time, or have it go through a whole list at one time. You can set it up to repeat each phrase 1-5 times. A popup window shows the Chinese characters and English translation for each phrase as it's being read aloud. Altogether, there are about 3500 phrases available, so there's a lot of vocabulary. I mostly use the app to practice my listening/reading comprehension. I really like that you can have it read all the phrases in a list with just one click, so that you can just sit back and listen, and don't have to keep toggling back and forth. The app is a bit tricky to set up and navigate, but well worth the effort once you get it figured out.
The only minus is that it has no pin-yin, its only han-yu and english translation. Please anyone correct me if I am wrong
