Photo2Vector for Android
Works like a gem. I've seen no app worked like that good work
doesnt work
Failed to open any file to vectorize.
Horrible. Don't bother to download
Not able to open file
Overall, I'm happy with it. However, the final vector comes out inverted - the white background becomes a black shape. This is very inconvenient. I don't know if it's intentional or a bug. Also, would be nice if there was a full-screen preview option for the final vector and an option to export it as a png of a specific resolution. I wouldn't even mind if the resolution was predetermined. Most of the time I'm after the smooth vectorized look rather than the vector itself.
The app simply closes. Nothing happens.
Doesn't do anything. There's nothing to press or do. Rather frustrating but never mind. Will just uninstall.
Changes file format but the images have little resemblance to photos.
Works - support for color output would be genius!
I would happily pay for this if it traced centrelines.
Does the job without flaws.
Love it
The only two problems are, it needs color support and the developer needs to add asking for permissions, otherwise the app will throw an error trying to load data from the card. Now, a suggestion is to allow the user to select any file with Android's built in file explorer so I don't have to delete the .nomedia files I have created.
Said the file was corrupt or out of memory. Get it working and I'll try again.
Only black n white and no other options.
Crap
Need help with file name as i can't get it to save in svg. It always fails. What is the correct location where the .svg files are supposed to go?
The resulting vector is black and white. That's the way most automatic vector tracing programs are. It also has a slider for setting the color level. Amazing. I suggest making the GUI more appealing.
I've used potrace at Linux command line before and it is powerful but rather tricky. This app has much of potrace's power but is incredibly intuitive and easy to use. I had no problems saving images on a galaxy note 3.
file save failed. please explain
Easy to use, but it would be way cooler of it had multi colour support
This app lets you take a picture and then save as a monochromatic vector format. Its a front end to the open source potrace but gives you an easy simple interface on Android. There are ads but very unobtrusive small ones.
