About Messenger Backup
Messenger Backup allows you to download message threads from Facebook Messenger and store them in a CSV (comma separated value) file and share it via email or upload to Google Drive™.
Do you need to get a conversation out of Messenger for historical purposes, proof of a conversation, or just afraid of losing important information? You'll be able to download the conversations to your device in a couple steps. You can download the entire conversation or a specific date range. Once your Facebook Messenger conversation has been downloaded, it can be uploaded to Google Drive or emailed.

doesnt work...should have read reviews... my bad.... BUT hereby giving notice to 'developer' that if it turns out this app has harvested information from my fb account that later becomes known to be used for nefarious or even just annoying purposes - there will be consequences. Got it? Good. You have no idea the tech skills of the folks I know... don't make me ask them for help... and how about removing your obviously badly designed and implemented 'app' from the playstore... you know, until you figure out how android apps work?

I logged in with my facebook, authorised the app and VOILA! In doing so achieved absolutely nothing. What a surprise this app works on an average of 0%. Yay, go wasting data, woohoo

DOES NOTHING on my Galaxy Tab 3 with Android 4.4.2. I should have read the other reviews first instead of blindly following a recommendation. Next stop: uninstall, and pronto.

I got excited to save my Facebook messages. I logged in and no messages loaded. I uninstalled and reinstalled.. Now it won't connect at all! Very disappointing. You should remove this from the play store, so people are not disappointed so much!
