Old app was useful despite the speed issues, hopefully the new update will increase reliability.

For a personally-made app (not from Metra), I am impressed at the accuracy and detail. I use this app nearly every day. I agree holiday schedules are not included, but since it isn't Metra's app, I wouldn't expect updates for the Air and Water Show or Lollapalooza. I see this more as an electronic Metra book customized for my stops with live updates on train delay times. Thank you for the great work! Update: I understand what the developers are trying to do with the fancy new dashboard, however, the app lags and doesn't work as solidly as it used to. Here's hoping they are getting the kinks out.

This app is completely unreliable with their times. The schedule listed doesn't match up with the website at all. Times on the app where there's supposed to be a train (keeping in mind delays and whatnot), surprise surprise there's no train. Don't have an app if you can't make it accurate.

This app is completely unreliable! Due to nonexistent times posted on this app, I've been late to work. Imagine standing on a platform, in the middle of winter waiting on your train to arrive in 2 minutes and your train arrives, then passes you by. And the next one does not come for an hour!!! I called Metra and they do not tale responsibility for this app and the incorrect information it provides. Do not use this app!!!

Why is this app not working. People have to get places and I have to deal with changing settings on my phone for it to work. This is an inconvenience. It use to work. Now there are no schedules posted because I have to figure out how to change settings on my phone.

Instructions are vague. Once you figure out how it can be used, it's not bad. You must know what route you are going to use before you can figure out which route you must use. Diffinitly made for people familiar with Chicago. Out of towners will find it difficult at best.

When feed goes down, app shows no times. Would be nice if it cached data. I have unexpectedly come to rely on this app. It makes planning my ride schedule a breeze!

Don't bother. Just go online or get a paper schedule. I've had this app for years and it just keeps getting worse. It used to be great, but you can no longer find trains or times easily, or at all if the app just decides not to work.

This app used to be my go-to. However, since the update (sometime after Feb 2017)...this app became garbage. It is slow, and lacks fuctionality that it's predecessor had. I previously considered this the "top" Chicago metra app, but now I'm seeking an alternative -- one in which the app ACTUALLY loads when connected to WiFi and/or one that allows the option to switch between departure/arrival station.

The old version was so much better. This version takes way too long to load and often crashes before letting you look up train schedules.

No way to filter the schedule based on the station I need. Used to be a great app but as every other review states: basically unusable now. Most recent review is 4 weeks old, which leads me to believe that this critical review will be censored. Uninstalling...

Metra has ability to track exact status if each train. Yet they choose not to inform commuters. Metra is horrible for charging so much and providing little. Whoever made this app... You're the man (woman)!

I used to be able to pick my local station, now it forces me to the wrong station. It may be close to me but it's not the station I catch the train on. Looking for a new app I guess.

So is completely unusable for the Union Pacific Northwest line. The are "0" trains coming and leaving Chicago since last update. Maybe I'll download it again once it becomes reliable.

The new app is horrible and it loads extremely slow. Since prices are going up maybe shift some money into a better app.

I guess I am supposed to be able to purchase a ticket on this..but after trying for 10 minutes, I couldn't figure out how to book a ticket on this app. I personally think the app is not very used friendly or very intuitive to users.

Used to be awesome...until they changed it. Restrictive...hard to use....I'm trying to find a new one. Impossible to navigate....

Needs a bit more work schedule wise... needs to update when there's a delay and needs to add their weekend & holiday schedules. People depend on this app you know!

The new update makes the app more difficult to use. The new menus require more steps to get the same information. The way the information is presented is more confusing.

Nothing shows up. Says there is never any rides. Useless

Horrible app. The calendar feature is terrible so difficult to pick out the day. I hate it, I will stick to ventra.

I am always up to date of when train is scheduled for. Love this app. Also let's me reverse with a simple touch. Can't get easier than this.

Horrible. Apparently there are no trains today! Suggests I choose a future date but there is no option to enter a date! Pure garbage.

The new ap is a disappointment. I have tried everything to get it to show me the trains I need on the day I need them. I have given up.

The app is simple enough to get your train stops. It would be nice, if they actually showed live train location from GPS and/or 4G LTE trackers.

This app is more reliabe than the emails that come sometimes hours later from Metra. Look at it right before I leave to see how on time (or not) my train will be.

Always off the mark by 3-4 minutes which when you're dropping kids off, those 3-4 minutes make a world of difference..when its late, it miscalculates how late it is..one time it said 7 minutes late, it was there in under 5. not very dependable when its constantly wrong

Used to love this app but recently it has become painfully slow. Unfortunately will be uninstalling and using a different app.

New updates are terrible. I cannot simply look up the schedules anymore.

Doesn't scale text so I can only see hours not minutes on schedules. Once I select a route doesn't stay on that route do have to keep researching every time you need to check schedule.

Gives a good view of that is happening. The late noticed are very useful. It would be nice to see the trains which are not stopping at the station (expresses).

This app just says that the train doesn't make stops where you're at. Just don't download it, it's a waste of time

App doesn't work. Keeps giving the circle when finding out the times . It sucks

New updates seem step back on usability, ease of use and functionality seemed to be sucked out..

This app bricked after the latest updates, which is unfortunate because it used to be user friendly and very accurate.

Beautiful design. Quick to get to your local train's schedule. Love the nearby option. Hands down, best Metra app there is

Let's you find out when the next train leaves from the nearest train station, tells you if it's on time or running late.
