Tipping Bird: World Tip Guide for Android
Missing several countries and opens browser for no reason. Really wish the developer could make this based on user information, if he has no time
That's a very good idea and the app has a great database with accurate information, but seriously? jQuery Mobile in a native application? Please, it can't be hard to do something more decent!
It's nice to know which cultures tip and how much. But every time you change the country, it tries to open a non-existant ad in your browser.
Useful little app, information seems accurate. Nothing fancy but very handy when country hopping on business. Could do with more countries.
This app provides a convenient source of tipping information for many countries. While you can get this information via many placed on the web, it's convenient to have an app like this available when traveling (especially when disconnected from the Internet to save on roaming costs). I will give this more starts if you added more information (like the country Switzerland) and more functionality (like in-app calculations). Example: How much should each pay when 6 people share a 590 CHF + tip dinner.
Slick design! Calculates my tips for every country! (but I've only used it in the US so far :)
Simple user interface that works, bit the user experience really could be better. Read a book like Tapworthy and make the interface work better with my fingers! Also, not sure about the validity of the data since I'm from the UK and I have never heard of tipping for organised tours.
Nice, kine I could use of it...
Totally unnecessary app unless you're mentally deficient in some way. And given that two of the OTT reviews are by the developers - save yourself the trouble.
I almost didn't know how much to tip when I was on my exotic vacation. And then I checked out Tipping Bird. WOW. It totally saved my life*. * By life, I mean embarrassment for asking a friend how to much to tip.
If you're not going to include all countries, especially those that people actually travel to like Switzerland, then why bother?
Tried it out and it sucks, interface was pretty buggy and some of the lame 5 star reviews are from the developers, go figure...
Don't even try this Tried it out and it sucks, interface was pretty buggy and some of the lame 5 star reviews are from the developers, go figure...

Possibly useful for morons? Totally unnecessary app unless you're mentally deficient in some way. And given that two of the OTT reviews are by the developers - save yourself the trouble.
