PasswdSafe - Password Safe

App is great, but latest version doesn't open my files ("invalid password"). Downgraded to 6.7.1 in the meantime. UPDATE: Latest version works perfectly. Thanks for the quick response!

My only complaint is that there is no desktop linux version, to be able to open passwdsafe files on my pc it should be windows. Otherwise i use and used perfectly on symbian, maemo, android, and the windows version works but the interface isn't as good as mobile versions.

Memorize a one long password, use separate, randomly generated ones for everything else and store them here. Compatible with Password Safe in Windows and Linux. Allows multiple DBs for organization & deniability. Never reuse passwords.

Beautiful in its simplicity. I've used this on my pc for years before mobile apps came along.

Keep getting "android.nfc.TagLostException: Tag was lost." with Galaxy S7 and yubikey, could you please take a look at this? Can provide you with generated trace.

am unable to select the one drive or google drive to save the file or retrieve the file

The search function in the Windows app works excellently, but not so much on Android. I spend too much time searching for one of my credentials on the phone that I have to resort to my laptop. Password Safe Sync is fantastic! Let me know when the Search capability on Android has been improved. I would have given it 5 stars otherwise.

Ability to modify password contents changes inexplicably. Not good when "security" fairy mandates random password updates.

Yet another app requiring unreasonable access rights. In my simple mind a 'Password Safe' app should safely store passwords and nothing else. Deleted from my phone.

Great app that I've used for years. Cannot see an explanation for the additional permissions required with the latest update though. Will hold off on update until this is made clear.

I have used password safe for so long that I can't remember not using it. It does exactly what it says, I have never lost a password when I put them in the password safe.

Most of the developers were are not providing Password savings app for free and if it is free, that contains more ads. So I prefer all users to install this app.

The app is great but for the last few versions there are files that I can edit but not create new records

An absolute must if your life has many secure passwords.

An excellent app which I have used for years on Windows and Android. Unfortunately cannot use on Android any longer as I have an older tablet without a fingerprint scanner. Shall have to find an alternative!

It asks for too many priveledges. Why does this program need access to my browsing history?

Eej sure PasswdSafe is THE one and only safe way. Been using it on pc since it was still beta :) Using it on droid too of course but always forget to rate. SuperSafe password storage people, only need to remember one (master password) to enter the safe and simply use another one for wherever/whatever safe them in PasswdSafe and you're done), the xtra app for syncing between droid and pc keeps both in sync (nice job dev, and thanks for porting to droid!!!). 10 wasn't allowed so I'll put 5 extra stars here ;) *****

I first started using this on my Linux machine, then Windows machine now on my Android phone. I suggest this program to all of my friends. Not only does it keep your passwords and other sensitive info safely encrypted, it also generates passwords for you which is also customisable. I could go on all day. Thank you very much for this! This program is definitely "worth" money but offered free which is very nice of you!
