It used to be great. Now the new version just won't save to the external card at all, even with full storage permissions given. New files always fail with 'access denied', and when editing existing files it always tries, and fails, to make a backup copy first, even when the backup settings are disabled. Clearing cache & data, and reinstalling didn't help either. Any app that can't handle basic file management like this is pathetic and close to useless.

Nice design, but very poor implementation. It just crashes. I can't even make a simple note with two timestamps and a few words. Maybe it's because I'd tried to write in russian. Useless

Better than the other editors because THERE ARE NO ADS! TANK YUO! But it has some issue with slowness and responsiveness. Hangs severely. Is there a workaround? Thank you.

Can't hide the symbol toolbar at the bottom. Having horizontal and vertical scrolling happen together is annoying. Soft keyboard doesn't work correctly in fullscreen mode.

Your recent update destroyed the app! It now crashes. My files turned to 0 bytes. What happened? I can only load 1 txt file at a time now.

This app is far and away the best text editor I have ever used on Android. The most important feature is that it is open source, so you can go to GitHub and see exactly how this app works, and even change the code around if you want, if you know how to build and install your own Android apps. But it has all the features of for-pay text editors. My personal thanks to the creators of this app.

No font support. Having the best keyboard supporting thousands of characters, can’t get rid of the custom symbols ribbon. A mere programmer’s editor, nothing more.

Unable to save files to external sdcard (storage/sdcard1), it says Permission Denied. My os is lollipop.

Update!! Updated this app. Still no workie!!!! Pls fix your app, it used to be the best!!! Still waiting for you, hope you'll fix it! I'm giving it a 4 coz it used to be an awesome app and I hope the developers will fix the issue ASAP!!! DOES NOT SAVE TO SD. Does not save at all, regardless of where!!!! Otherwise, no complaints!!

Highly corrupting saves..will fully swap content with other files and sometimes outright delete content when multiple files saved..these blunders of yours seriously need eliminating.

Doesn't support file associations, so you can't open code files in it from other apps (e.g. Dropbox). Text selection, horizontal scrolling, and copying and pasting are all buggy bordering on totally broken. Some features (whitespace indicators) have a horrendous performance impact. These are glaring problems, and the app seems like abandonware.

Needs replace all button and tabbar for opened files. You are showing the file name, that space can be used for tabbar.

I still have the original 920 and use it on my older test tablet. I'm very glad to see it revamped and now, open source. Text editors, besides games, is the one type of app that I've spent the most money on because no one gets it right. It would be nice to be able to use only one, again. 920 still has issues, and I'm sure the developer works on it when he can, but it's getting there.....
