About Droid Grain DB
Droid Grain DB is a grain (malt) and adjuncts database for brewers. It currently contains 297 different grains and adjuncts from various malting companies around the world, as well as some generic data, including various sugars, such as Belgian Candi sugars, treacle, molasses, honey, etc.
Droid Grain DB's analysis data displays typical analysis data for each fermentable, including brand (except for generics), name, color (both in degrees Lovibond, aka SRM, and EBC), yield both as a percentage and as points/pound/gallon (pts/lb/gal), maximum percentage of the grist, flavor contribution, and usage information such as styles, head retention, and so on.
When you select a brand from the brands listing, Droid Grain DB will take you to the main listing, which contains all of the fermentables in the app, and will then scroll that list down to your selected vendor.
At the bottom of the brands listing, you will find an entry which will take you to a color chart, showing the various colors in both degrees L and EBC.
There is a menu option to take you to a page explaining what the various numbers mean, conversions, etc.
