FieldNotes for Android
I use this to track symptoms of a disease and it works great. Easy to send the results to your personal computer for further analysis too.
I was looking for an app to timestamp my exercise and diet notes so that I could analyse it on the computer later. I tested a dozen similar options including workout, note, and spreadsheet apps and this one ended up being the winner. Simple and easy, yet surprisingly capable.
Gps only works part of the time
Agree with previous comment that a default email address should be saved (to be more quick). Another thing that may be sometimes needed is editing previous records if I discover some mistake afterwards (if the log isn't very big and I regulary email and delete it then I can just add additional note currently).
I absolutely love this app! I was searching for a way to journal that would automatically time stamp my entries...not only do I get time stamps but I also get GPS coordinates...this app rocks!!!
Great timestamp function but the only way to save it is to e-mail it and that is the part that doesn't work. When I send the email it only sends the last timestamp info but no notes. I attached a photo and sent it and the photo came through but still, no note. Now I have a picture with no narrative.going to uninstall...too bad.
For the last 2.5 years I've had a DROID2 running Android 2.3. I just upgraded to a new Android running 4.0 and I tried to reinstall the app and I get a message that it isn't compatible. The new phone is a BLU DASH 4.0 on AT&T via NET10.
Lots handier for fi's and crime scenes. I'm going to email entire agency this app info.
Perfect for taking notes out and about
More departments are giving out smartphones, only makes sense to have more and better public safety apps. Keep up the good work.
Great for note taking
Does what it says. Can't delete or edit notes. Add photo would be a nice option
Great app for investigators
Tailored at the public sector, fire investigators, police investigators, etc. Nice job James
Awesome. The only thing I could think to add would be the ability to have a default email address. Even without that this little tools going top get lots of use.
Can be read backwards.

This will make do for my needs since i needed a app to record the seconds in the timestamp. I have written a journal program for Linux and use the timestamp for organizing entries. I need seconds to prevent entry collisions. I can't give this 5 stars because, 1 No local save. 2 Cannot delete entry without deleting all entries. 3 Can't edit entry once placed in the to send log. 4 No option for locking in timestamp when entry starts instead of when it is saved.
