DC Metro Transit - Free

I used this app for a while until ads started ruining it. I'll be listening to music and when I open this app, my music stops because of ads. I don't mind ads, just don't stop my music. I uninstalled and switched to metro hero.

This app was very good but it never showed Metro disruptions. Nearly everyday there is a delay but you'd never know that from the app.

Thanks for fixing the malware. Only took a month... Me likey again.

I have used this app for a long time, and did find it to be useful. However, lately it keeps opening virus attack pages when I interact with it. An app that is trying to infect my phone, or slows me down due to constantly having to exit out of unwanted dialogues is something I don't want.

I love this app and it has always worked well. However in the last couple of weeks it will open a browser page with malware messages and some of the times started to be slightly off. The times may be a Metro thing since the app uses a feed from Metro to obtain times. The mlaware issue is going to be a deal breaker for me. If this isn't resolved then I'll have to look for another app sadly.

I've been using this app for over 7 years because it worked great. It still works great, but there's some sort of malware redirection associated with it that tells me I have a virus on my phone. Can't this malware be removed?

Can't look for bus stops on a map, so I have to know the stop ID before being able to get tracking info. Not helpful, I don't have every stop ID in the city memorized, so if I can't use a map, I can't plan for when I need to leave to catch the bus. I want all buses that stop at the same stop listed together, I don't want to have to toggle into a separate tab to see if the Circulator is coming before a WMATA bus. Also, I want them listed in order of arrival time, not grouped by route--otherwise I look at the top listings and they're all 10-15 minutes out, and if I happen to scroll way down, I discover that in 2 minutes a different bus is stopping at my stop that I could take but I won't make it because I didn't see it because arrivals aren't listed chronologically.

This used to be a great app, but it now includes a malware spam ad that takes over your screen and tells you that you have a virus. Too bad.

I used to like this app but now I get pop up spam msgs and it never gives me real time info. also the graphics are outdated.

can be helpful but (1) links to annoying pop up ads (2) confuses arrival times with departure times; bus may be arriving but if it's the end of the route, it may not be leaving again for a bit.

This app works fine, but lately I'm getting pop ups and click bait. I swear I'm about to get a virus! Please fix!

This app redirects constantly to the browser for aggressive/dangerous spam popups. Major bummer since this app served me well for the past several years.

Be careful using this app. It has an AD that redirects to a malicious website.

I don't mind ads, but I've been getting non-stop malicious ads with this for a couple of weeks now. Time to uninstall.

This program recently started opening up malicious websites, attempting to download files, and other stuff. Not worth it.

The recent update to this app has advertisements that redirect to a web browser with malicious content. This app is dangerous and should be avoided.

This app opens up your browser to display pop ups, even when you don't click on an ad.

Use to be a great app, now contains malware that hijacks Google chrome. I also noticed there is a paid version of the app, bet there is no malware in that version. Zero stars.

The app no longer updates the Metro train status. The status is stuck on "no disruptions", which if you're a DC Metro rider, you know​ is impossible. Please update app.

This was the most reliable app for DC train times, but it seems to have been exploited by malware--it now randomly sends users to a malware page claiming they have a virus or downloads a PDF without being prompted by the user.

Intrusive and malicious advertising pop ups. One of them started beeping incessantly with a warning prompt about a virus

Changing from a five star to a one star and uninstalling. Works great but the malware pop-up ads are intolerable.

I like the app but it won't display train arrival times. Always says there is a problem getting predictions. Try to refresh. I do and same thing. Please fix.

This was a great app, but the addition of pop-up/malware ads that hijack my browser are making it unusable.

Used to be awesome, now it doesn't update times or give accurate predictions anymore and it's overrun with malware.
