Sleep Ambience

Good app with great customisability. The only annoyance is that it keeps playing when my headphones come out - quite embarrassing when I use it in the library to block out noise. It would be good to have a setting to change that. But otherwise, it has a very good selection of sounds and allows you to fine-tune your own ones.

I love this app. Use it all the time and have had it on two phones. The only drawback is the volume and frequency controls don't display correctly on my Note 5. They're only a fraction of an inch long, making them nearly impossible to fine tune. Other than that, it's been perfect!

This app was amazing until I downloaded the new Android update. Now every sound skips just slightly after about 15 seconds of being played. It's enough to keep me from falling asleep. Please fix this!

Closest I've found to what I'm looking for so far. If you added longer time intervals (up to 10 minutes instead of 5 would be great), the ability to use the same intermittent sound effect multiple times with different settings during the same track, it would be pretty much perfect. Keep adding new sounds and I'll cough up for the premium-and I'm a cheapskate!

Good app however, I've noticed that on the paid version that I can only create my own sound via inputting my own music etc., while connected to the internet. I'm dissappointed how I cannot do this "offline" Unlike a lot of people, I don't like to be permanently connected to the internet :)

In these days of too much stress, this is just what I needed. During the day for a 2-minute respite, or at night to help me get to sleep.... this is 100 times better than any prescription I've ever gotten! Just what the doctor ordered!

This is a fabulous app, really helps with tinnitus. Only issue I have is that on the Samsung Galaxy S6 the sliders and other pop up menus aren't coming up correctly. They appear very small and it's hard to move the sliders accurately.

I tried 3 different sounds to fall asleep. Every single one had one loud noise that must play in a loop. As they played, I knew that they would eventually wake me. So I switched thinking I should try a different one. No, that didn't work. I gave it 3 tries. This app is being deleted.

Had it a long time and liked it a lot. But Android updated their operating systems last year and changed how apps worked with it. Out of date apps crash the phone requiring a 10 minute rebuild of the indexes. My phone finally stopped accepting it. So I had to delete. It's a shame too because it was a good app.

Really like the app, helps me sleep when I am stressed. My only problem is the volume and interval adjustment bars when making a custom track are like only 5mm long, it's impossible to adjust. LG G3 on lollipop

Love this app use it every night, would give 5 stars if the volume buttons on all the add on's under the edit were like they use to be before the update they are so much harder to adjust the individual volumes for each sound fix this and I'll change my rating

Love this app, but 3 stars because I'd like this fixed soon. The volume adjusting on the tracks is too small, and I can't see what I write on the track description until I flip my phone, but then it won't let me upload it. Also having trouble seeing some of the other buttons. Not sure if its the phone or the app..

I travel to a lot of noisy hotels and have tried many ambient sounds apps. This is the best. By being able to combine the levels of different sounds, I remixed two last night that put me right to sleep!

I upgraded from the sg4 to the sg6. Since I've had this app on new phone the line for volume I no longer fully across the screen when I'm trying to adjust the volume for different items. If is not less then an inch and to try to get the right voice is very hard. Also the stop and set timer are not normal either. St is on top and then the op is underneath it the set timer is also broken up and weird looking. I would like this to be rsovled. Again not sure if it's the update or phone.

Other than being able to change the background theme the purchased version is no different than the free app. Wtf? Not only that, but after playing for awhile the volume increases DRASTICALLY, scaring you from a deep sleep!

My dogs bark at strange noises from hallways etc when we are in hotel rooms. I turn this on with my husband's phone and put it close to the door. I turn it on my phone and put it by the furthest point from the door and then on my tablet on the nightstand. They settle right down and just think all noises are normal now!!

This app is brilliant for helping me sleep when my tinnitus acts up and I need something to drown it out without it being overwhelming. The only hiccup I have is the layout is squished when setting up settings, leading to a very narrow space to control volume. Still well worth downloading.

I suffer from migraines and this app has allowed me to make my own personal relaxing sounds. The only thing I wish it had was a clock ticking noise.

I was very angry at some loud people in a nearby room when I tried this app in desperation. I've used it ever since. I love waking up to the white noise turning off. No alarm necessary. Awesome!

What kind of fool wants to hear a poor cat being slowly killed while trapped in a clothes dryer? Perfect idea for small children... What a nightmare...uninstalling immediately.

It is really hard to adjust the volume to right where you want it. Like VERY DIFFICULT. Maybe make the volume bar a lot bigger. Everything else is perfect. Worth it!

I have trouble sleeping since I had a hysterectomy 2 years ago. I developed insomnia shortly after the surgery. I am able to fall asleep quickly and stay asleep with this app.

Love the idea of this, but have a few issues with it. Sliders are rendered so short they're almost impossible to use on my device. I wish the volume control was independent of the device volume, because I like to play this under other audio, and it's difficult to balance the sound. Failing that, being able to scale the volume of an entire track, rather than just individual elements would help. Otherwise, it's great, highly customisable ambience.

This app works great, I love that you can customize your own tracks and even share them with a friend. Creates custom soundscapes great for sleep, but could be used for background sounds for plays, stories, RPG games, anything you want to make an immersive setting for. Would love a few more sounds though. I request more rolling thunder, snow plow, howling wolves, & humpback whale song. Something seems broken with the track "on the train" though, It's blank to me. (Droid Maxx)

Wonderful app with all the features that you need in terms of the settings with timer, alarm, excetera. Very simple to use and comes with great preloaded sounds. Hundreds of more FREE sounds created by users available which is mind blowing. All this and no obtrusive ads, what more could you want?

Friend recommended this to me and i was a little skeptical of the make your own tracks idea, but it's easy and wonderful!!

Appreciate this app... Definitely helps with my drifting off... Peaceful sleep is nice! :)

It's been quite awhile since i be had my LG g3 and the text size issue STILL hasn't been fixed. All the text, sliders and timer are ridiculously small and hard to adjust with your finger. Works fine on other phones, I love the app but its been far too long to go without a fix and I'm not the first review to point it out either. As much as I like this app, its not worth using in its current state on the LG g3

As described, gives you several peaceful sounds to choose from. Good mix of relaxing sounds

Love the combination of nature and music! Hats off to You and your collaboraters! Some sound sources are probably phonograph records. That's okay.

Not fake sounding like so many others of this type of app. I use it every night.

I was always a "fan" sleeper...the louder the better...but it plays havoc on your sinuses. This app is fabulous, the sounds are so life like, you can't hear where it loops, I love the timer and the "stop when you recieve a call" setting. I've used it for over a year and it's NEVER Not worked perfectly! Great job, and thank you!

Not only does the app have an ugly theme that needs be updated apple style with class but the sounds keep me awake if I sleep it only puts me out 3 hours in awake again ugly app waste of my time

Points for putting together this app. Not a copy of so many others but unique, well done. No problems just don't like how every natural sound is paired with elevator music.

Started using this after developing tinnitus. It's the only thing that can help me fall asleep. So easy to use and navigate. Really helpful that you don't need WiFi to use this app through the night. Love the library and have downloaded a few new tracks, stormy night is my favourite at the moment. I sometimes set the timer so it switches itself off which is a good feature. Thank you!

I adore this app, it helps me relax, sleep and destress. The ability to create your own tracks and share with others is wonderfully unique.

My boyfriend and I fall asleep to this every night. We just moved to the city from a very small and quiet town and it drowns out the sound of traffic and all the other noises so we can sleep peacefully. We would both get a lot less sleep without this!
