Jasuto modular synthesizer for Android
i love to make custom stuff and play with the sound, this app makes it possible and fun! great thanks for removing the store and for latest version! ps. the mic input doesnt work with nexus 7 first gen? it doesnt record anything
Crashing all the time, dont have time to do anything. And I have pretty ok tablet so shouldnt be problem with power...
Amazing app. Easy to learn Is capable of doing so much with your phone. Pay the couple bucks and get it.
Interface is messed up when in windowed mode on Remix OS but works fine in fullscreen mode.
Great modular synth, very versatile. My only problem with it is that the mic input node has not worked since forever. I've now tried it with a HTC Desire HD, a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and a Huawei Y360, but the mic node outputs no sound on any of these devices. It used to work really well before one of the first updates, so could the developer please look into this? It's pretty much the only reason I bought this app in the first place :(
There used to be a forum where you could post questions but it's been removed. And the link to send an email to the developer doesn't seem to work. It's free so I can't complain too much, but I certainly wouldn't pay for it. Basically you're on your own so if you have the time to figure it out go ahead, but don't expect any support even from other users.
Beautiful concept. Desperately needs a professional UI replacement, some more studio grade features and much more integration. This could be a wonderful DAW! 'The' go to DAW with a technical approach to production. HTC Desire, Samsung Galaxy SII S4 and S7 Edge.
Great possibilities and frustrating limitations, especially the sample editor as there's no way to save your audio file! Also can't replace a sample with another one. Too bad development seems dead.
Advertised as "Same as iOS", but no midi input or mic input. No support either. Abandonware.
Simply an Excellent, Powerful, and Unique Modular Synthesizer.
Really endless possibilities for sound creation. Looking forward to future updates.
bad app
If only JMS worked in full screen mode on my Galaxy Tab 10.1.. at the moment the app is restricted to Phone screen sizes.. i.e. even on the tablet it appears as a small screen.. and is consequently unusable... just to fiddly for my small fingers. Come on Jasuto.. how about some Tablet support!
Unbelievably amazing. Makes most other pro music apps look like gcse projects. Just needs move to SD, 10mb is rather large for the internal memory....
I would have got a refund if I hadn't missed the window, was really looking forward to seeing what this asp could do after some good reviews online, now sadly I am left with an expensive and useless icon.
An awesome app! Still quite buggy but It's obviously still very much in development. I look forward to seeing where this goes. Desire.
App is broken - lost recordings.. nothing works correctly. Needs an update in a bad way, could be amazing!
Having real performance issues and cannot register on developer website forum to gain support. So completely stuck!
Love this app. Exactly what i was looking for, now i just have to figure out how to harness it's power. The one problem is I can't get my Akai MPK mini to work. Works on all the other apps I have but not this one :( 5 stars if that gets fixed. ... Well it's been a few months and haven't heard anything. Is the DEV still working on this app?
Slick, satisfying virtual modular synth with sampling functions, well-designed interface, and huge sonic possibilities. Frustratingly, I have had a few crashes during saves on patches and lost the work and haven't gotten OSC, Midi, external sync yet but hope that'll iron out someday with further development. Regardless, Jasuto deserves high marks for its value and scope of potential as a sound laboratory.
Incredibly powerful, utterly unconventional modular synth app, with an utterly unique user interface. A fantastic way to explore electronic sound synthesis.
I have this one for iPad as well. The most exciting/inspirational synth app for mobile devices.Love it.
Please bring vst back. No midi for android. No dropbox. No Mic input. None of this was made clear and the features are listed as if functional. Any other app would get one star for this but I smell brilliance.

I am always a sucker for a good implementation of a modular synth system and this one is intriguing. I do worry about putting any trust in it being supported considering how long it was orphaned for the iOS version. I can understand that sometimes a labor of love in such an niche market requires prioritization but you should never abandon your early adopters. Its not like you can make a million bucks writing an app like this but if you just came back once a year it would have been something! I think this was the first or second app I installed once I ditched my Windows phone for a Motorola Droid in 2010.

Incredible app, still few things are missing in android version. Id love to record my sessions into wav (which is possible) and then SAVE wav file in any location (I dont need to share them on soundcloud, as android allows me to freely copy files). Would be usefull for exporting. Also I dont know why there are stock samples in any of my project dirctories, when I am not using them. Love Space node. Its almost impossible what you can do with cheap tablet :) Good job
Please bring vst back.
I could spend hours playing with this! Disappointed to find that Windows VST version is no longer available. I had hoped to be able to design scenes on my tablet for use in my DAW - hopefully this will be back for a future release. Definitely a five stars then!

Please fix! What ever can I do? I wanna play w/this app (which I paid cold hard credits for). Help! Still no help? I want it to work!!!!!!!!"
Love it n hvnt even used it jst kno wot i cld do wiv it all i can do is blve tht it will eventually run on my device COME ON JASUTO....
Totally cool - though likes to crash. Quirky at times. File lookup doesnt seem to work (or i dont know how to work it) no way to save work? Droid2
Jasuto is great but I have bought the app to use it with my midi keyboard (Akai professional MPK mini). All my other music apps (Caustic, Heat Synthesiser, etc.) recognize the midi input. Jasuto doesn't. While trying to enable the midi input in the system menu I get the message 'no midi device'. This is a big disappointment, but I've decided to wait and see if the problem gets solved before giving the app a bad rating.
No idea how to use this. Wish I could get a refund!!!
Yep. Played with this for 4 hours...good god.
Amazing app. Easy to learn Is capable of doing so much with your phone. Pay the couple bucks and get it.
The app works perfectly even on my not-so-powerful phablet (with some glitches when the device goes to sleep and come back again). Great selection of tunes included, intuitive interface. Recommended for all electronic music enthusiasts! :)
