On August 23, 1991, “The End” was born. KNDD’s sign-on came at a particularly fortuitous time in both the Seattle and national music scenes. Within six weeks of The End’s first broadcast, three iconic albums by local artists – Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden were released. These artists helped to define the Seattle Sound and cement the Emerald City’s role in music history. The End also quickly became one of the most influential alternative radio stations in the world and continues in that role today.

Love the station. Love the music. But it randomly crashes through the day for no reason. And if I get a text or phone call, it crashes every time.

It tends to crash when you get a text message and the notification sound plays and shuts the app off and never opens the first time always the second time but the station is the best of seattle i only have issues with the app itself

The app is constantly skipping and cutting out. It also has a terrible shut down and doesn't always close properly, leaving it in the notification bar.

For reals i did enough free promotion i want my deck the hall ball tickets pepper. Pull some strings and yada yada. Great station sucks they dont put a fm reciver with a buffer if ya want to pause for ten munites or so in all phones. It cost like nothing. But then they make less money on apple music or pandora or whatever. I like local stuff and things. No matter were i go. How about a hand knitted Seahawks beenie. Whats my price form that?

The app works great most of the time, but it skips then stops for a few seconds if you get an email, text or app notification. Unless your device is on silent/vibrate.

I love this radio station but the app sucks! Difficult to navigate. Free downloads don't work unless you also download Facebook and spotify. Don't wasted your data, just listen to the radio. I uninstalled it almost immediately

I love the station this is my favorite station in Seattle and the app is terrible there is no good layout and it is just flat out terrible the station though is amazing keep on the 2 minute promise guys love you guys keep up the good work guys

The old app had FAR superior audio quality this new app sounds like their streaming at 64kbps quality... the highs are so tinny from the low quality stream their now offering it hurts my ears when I tried listening to it in my car last night when they switched apps... UP THE AUDIO QUALITY ! ! ! ! or expect people to stop listening....

The,most frustrating thing is how it doesn't have the playlists. It's an alright designed app it's just weird that they don't have it on their app but they do on the site. ?.

Besides the crashing (which is why I've removed it before) even though we sign in, it doesn't count our minutes towards the kndd goals on the streaming webpage. I find those fun, even if they're useless. Also, the end/stop function seems to keep the app running in the background when you're really done listening (like starting work) which is totally unhealthy for battery life

This app isn't worth the free price. Continuously stops playing, no matter if I'm on WiFi or using full strength 4G. Many times it won't buffer and I will have to go in the app and press pause and play again.

I have to keep pausing and unpausing to get it to play again. Super annoying. Plenty of signal so it seems to be an app issue.
