The idea is brilliant considering finding any parking space is a major headache near CBDs. But why are we placing a parking spot? Rather than a parking lot? Then the size would be a number of available slot (roughly) and we can report in condition full empty etc.. Can also suggest nearest free (if possible) space near us. Can work with local authorities to update the data whenever possible.

I'm not a fan of how the map automatically zooms in on my location. It makes it difficult to search for parking in other areas.
