News 95-5 and AM 750 WSB

Downloaded app to primarily to listen to the Vonhessler doc but the media player is buggy. Made the mistake of activating breaking news alerts and the app wakes me up to tell me something about a reality star's grandmother in the hospital. They just need to fire everyone involved with this app and start again from scratch and reconsider what constitutes breaking news.

Great app but it cuts out often and I have to continuously hit play.

This is the best radio app I have ever used. It It has good content and I don't even live in Atlanta!

Maybe it's me, but I've never had a radio app that does not crash, and I've used IRadio since it's been a thing. So to me this is acceptable. As for permissions it is a lot, but you can disable this line by line, so again non issue to me. Runs smooth for me and no issues if you know how to disable the notifications and if you really want, permissions as well.

I have Tune In Radio Pro which kept crashing & I wanted to listen to Eric, so downloaded the app, and it crashes just as often. Figure somehow this is WSB related. Uninstalled.

As the others posted the update has taken over phone. Constant notifications and you cannot back out of the app. Must force stop to get out. Someone has serious QA issues with their testing process. S7edge

I cannot listen to more than 3 minutes of the radio without having to close and re-open the app

Why do they need access to my contacts, pics, microphone, etc ???

Moved from 5 stars down to one. Connection is good. Convenience is good. Suddenly, constantly spamming me with updates that I never asked for is ANNOYING! Uninstalled after last update when it began hijacking my phone with no way to turn it off. Very disappointing.

Can't multitask. Can't exit without force. On demand playback lacks pause and rewind. App stops at random. Very poor experience. This is why apps get uninstalled.

This app continually starts on it's own and there is no 'exit/turn off app' feature/button. I am constantly having to force close this and a few minutes later, there it is... it doesn't even try to hide and run in the background. It's right there in the notification bar... no doubtfully tracking every thing you're doing and listening to. I'm sick of fighting it. Looking for apps that play the shows I listen to and then uninstalling this crap.

UI is ok, but needs to be updated to material design best practices. Also, interferes with Google maps navigation volume so you can't hear your turns

Listen anywhere!

used to work OK. Although it would frequently stop. I have noticed that what plays on the app is not always what is playing on the radio. It seems they replay portions of the talk shows on the app but not on the radio. I am not 100% sure on that However this is all academic to me now since the app no longer works on my shield.

News flame thrower!

It wont download.

I like to listen to some of their shows, but this version has problems. It says the only change was a new icon, but this is not correct. 1. The Back button does not work when listening to live programs. 2. It says to login with your Facebook account to be able to customize the app. I did that and there is NO WAY to customize anything. 3. It popups notifications of news items and I cannot stop this. 4. BUY A PORTABLE RADIO or hope they bring back the prior version.

The brraking news.alert shows on my phone but when I tap on it to view and go into the app you can not see the breaking news. There is a red box that says "tap for breaking news" but it does nothing and I can not close it either to view other stories. Quite frustrating.

And it never exits. Hitting back button doesn't exit the program and there is no menu in the app.

App will not show menus but the banner ads by goodness will.

But the app is glitched. Evey time i touch screen it jumps to the very bottom.

On time with what's happening in the city..

Long starting buffer, then anytime a get a small flicker in signal, it stops and I have to go back and restart it. Also give us a 5 min pause availability, so can take call or step away without missing anything. But biggest issue the constant stop of play.

come on Mobile App! be resilient and retry playing. buffer ahead! this app presumes perfect connectivity which does not exist IRL. lame-o

I was stuck in traffic, I downloaded this and it showed me how to get out of it. Can't argue with results.

The WSB Radio app is great when it works correctly, but it seems clunky and somewhat less than responsive. It could sure use some refinement and an easier to use interface. Buttons are somewhat slow to respond and there is no easy way to close the app.

Downloaded for Eric Von Haessler. Loved The Show. Was really happy when the Von Haessler Doctrine started on wsb. I'm really looking forward to the digital doctrine!

Worth it just for his show.

Great app but it cuts out sometimes and occasionally gets stuck buffering.

It looses streaming.

Will play a few minutes and freezes up. Used to work well.

The app is ok as long as you aren't trying to do anything else on your phone while streaming audio. As soon as another app is opened, streaming stops. This happens on both wifi and over the air. I am on a Samsung Galaxy S5, and have no issues with other streaming services like Pandora.

I like the app except for one major problem. I can't use my phone for internes, other programs while listening. With tune in radio app I can do so. But I have a difficult time getting the Herman Cain program which I love - please fix this

Can't multitask. App stops as soon as anything else is used. Playback of recorded shows lack pause and rewind. App stops at random. Not a good experience.

Takes forever to open and then is a terrible user interface. Can only display last notification. If you have 2 unopened notifications, you're out of luck on the earlier one.

One last star for an otherwise good app if I could only get to the news Alert that I got when I saw it pop up in my notifications. Too much clutter. Make it easy to navigate or else all anyone will ever do with the app is launch the listen now feature.

Love the talk radio but app looses streaming. Frustrating!

App kept crashing as soon as you hit play it wild play sometimes 30 seconds but almost always less than 5 mins. I'm gonna uninstall and try later. They talk about this app every 10 minutes on air, at least they should make sure it works.
