WGN Radio, Chicago's Very Own

I've downloaded this app many times. I'm a big fan of 720 WGN but the app always cuts in & out. I tried to give it another chance but it failed again.

Keeps freezing, not working, shuts off by itself. App needs to be easier to navigate also, but first it has to WORK properly!! I hate crappy apps!!

I just re downloaded the app the other day after a couple weeks of negative attempts to download and run it. So far it works......

A short review.

This app used to work great but over the last week it totally stopped working. I have tried everything but to no avail. Very disappointing. Currently a terrible app. What happened? !!!

Used to be a great way to listen to WGN radio while at work. Last week it stopped working. Does it take that long to fix, or was it just updated so only new phones work now?

Like others, I like the app, but since late January it stopped working on my Android phone (the Apple version still works on my iPhone). I contacted jacAPPS and they said to uninstall the app, reboot the phone and reinstall the app. I had already done this and I did it again, as they suggested, but I still get the message that the app stopped working. Maybe it is the phone? Are the rest of you who are having problems using the POS Samsung Galaxy Core Prime that I have?

I used to listen to every Blackhawk game on this at work.and I did an update on it and now it dont work at all very disappointed :-(

Since upgrades, app will not launch on Android system. What is a work around?

Plays for 30-60 seconds then stops. Starts to buffer again but rarely starts playing again. Have to close out the app and open again for another minute.

Older versions used to work, newer version does not stream anything. Frustrating. Don't put an ap out there that doesn't work.

Just wish it wouldn't crash when I'm listening to the Blackhawks :-

The audio stops and buffers every minute or so. Something with WGNS service because the broadcast does the same thing on tune in app. Frustrating to listen to when it stops all the time.

Tried to install 3 times. Installs but when I try to open it just goes into a loop telling me "unfortunately " the app has stopped. I uninstalled.

We need more ads? Don't we get ads through the normal broadcast? Crashes more now too.

Wasn't working the day I downloaded because the webstream was kaput. I'll give it another try.

Every time add stars crash crash

Same as everyone else. I have this app on both of my phones. Different carriers. Constantly disconnects, buffers and just generally doesn't perform at all. Fix it!

As a resident of the midwest i love the radio station hosts. The app however is basically rubbish. App wants way to much access to phone information, settings and usage data. No need for a radio station to gather my device ID to use a free app. Streaming audio stops constantly causing you to stop app and restart. Cannot recommend this app at all.

Travel alot for business. Installed on Galaxy S5 in December. Use it everyday! Never miss Bill and Wendy! Even caught all their prior shows via podcast link. Yes Walter, it does ask for alot of permissions. That's in order to allow for streaming via Bluetooth. WGN is not J. Edgar Hoover, now take off your foil hat.

This new version always craps out (buffers?) on me. The old version worked better. Please fix this or I can't listen on my phone!

Cuts off at least 10 times an hour and I have to re-open the app and hit play again. Very annoying. Apparently the creator of this app doesn’t care enough to fix this app so I am uninstalling it.

Why does it need to know info about attached WiFi devices to do its purported job? App is way too busy snooping.

This app is for me to listen to the Blackhawks. However as soon as I connect to Wi-Fi it stops streaming. That sucks since you HAVE to use data to listen.

When I press play it says it's buffering for about a minute and then stops. Worked fine before update. Now I can't listen to the Blackhawks games.

The live stream doesn't work at all since the latest update...before it would play but was glitchy

Used to use this all the time and it was great. Was working on my house and wanted to listen to the Hawks game, so threw this app on and all I got was ads, endless ads playing. Played no radio stream whatsoever, I know this because I ended up putting on a radio I had lying around.

It keeps stopping and I have to keep hitting play ever since I put the new app on my phone. I like to listen to the station but it's getting annoying.

My phone tells me I am connected but the access symbol just continues to spin. Bring back what we had in August..it was flawless!!

I have installed this app twice and it still doesn't work!
