eFax – Send Fax From Phone

Found nothing when installing app that said I'd be charged for service. Billed $16.95! Maybe good if you plan to fax often from phone but seems a bit much and no easy cancellation opyion. Long phone call... oh but they can reduce price if you won't cancel! Used once for a 2 page fax. Paid for 2 months! Grrrr

**** Faxing using eFax via Gmail works perfectly but I just could not get the app to successfully send a fax at all. Therefore I have reluctantly reduced my review to 4 stars. Once a fax is sent successfully via an email account, a confirmation email is received and in the app the attempts both successful and unsuccessful can be accessed under the 'sent' tab. I think it's amazing that I can now send a fax or email using gmail and efax from a smartphone. ****

I should have read the reviews before app. Totally ripped off. Not able to fax or send. Sat on the phone for 2 hours. Never got a peraon. Emailed the address listed in the complaints and still have yet to get a response. Having to call to cancel is crap. Was 10 days into trial and finally canceled. But was still charged. Filed a fraud charge against them with cc company. And reported to better business bureo. And contacted a lawyer. We all infact have a case against this company. Get one!

This is the worst app I've ever used. It told me I have 3 accounts with over 400 messages and when I called to resolve this problem I got hung up on by 2 different representatives. I'm a person that records all my calls. If it was a serious matter I would have been more frustrated and demand to speak to a manager but this app is definitely a BIG joke. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO USE THIS APP!!!!!!!!!!!!

After I read the reviews on this product, where people were cheated out of money and there was poor customer service, I immediately uninstalled program and dared not use it, not even for the free trial. There seems to be many of these mobile phone fax services available on Google, and highly rated. I will stick with those.

I thought I was going to get one free fax sent but instead it sent an unrecognized fax, and then got charged for 3 months. I called back to attempt to get a full refund of 3 months and only received one (called it a courtesy). I literally pleaded with them that since I didn't even get to user their service to please refund the full amount, and they said "we are an agreed upon service subscription not a used to pay service".

This app is bullshit. They said you have 10 free faxes within the first 30 days that this app is downloaded. I just sent my first 10 but it says i cant because i am out of free faxes to send. This is bullshit. Do not waste your time to download this crap app.

This app is like those awful magazine subscription deals you sign up for and find out it's a nightmare to get out of. Signed up to get the free 30 days, and called right after so I wouldn't be charged. Was charged anyhow and sent an email regarding it. Apparently it went unresolved still and just received ANOTHER bill from them. Called to get it sorted and received an apology but no refund. As far as I'm concerned, it's not worth your trouble signing up for this. Don't waste your time.

I was able to only send 1 fax this month even though my 30 day free trial wasn't even over. Downloaded on 11/17/2016 and on 11/28 was denied a fax. What a disappointment. If all you need is one fax your set. But any more than that it's not worth it.

Avoid this app!!! Horrible customer service! After the 30 day free trial I did not cancel in time and was charged for an additional month, so I immediately called to cancel to insure I would not be charged again the following month; however, I was just charged again for an additional month. When I called to let them know they charged after I cancelled, they refused to give me a refund. Avoid this app!!

I opened an account it gave me no pin so i couldn't even access my account. So i call 4 times trying to get it fixed with no luck so i cancelled my account the same day and they still charged my account even though I never got to use the services i get this service a 0 and customer service a 00 worst idea i ever had dont waste your time.

Actually PAID for this bs for my business hoping it would work when I really need it. Guess what? Been working on sending this fax since midnight and now It's 3:08 am and I really need it. It doesn't f@$!in work. Keeps giving me "unknown error"

I thought i get the free number when i bought the credits. And when i got ready to fax they wanted $16.97 for the membership for the free 30 day trial. I need my money back for those 84 credits. I only needed to fax two pages.

Sign up for a free program, and get charged for a plus program. When called they claim that they did not even offer such a program. They claimed needed CC info at time of sign up for 'overages' of the free plan. Will file official fraud complaint if refund not processed immediately.

Their a bullshit company, and a bunch of ripoffs. Asked em to cancel my account, and they didnt do it til after they had charged my account for at least for 1 month. Don't use this it doesn't work. I wouldn't even give it a one star. Bunch of jews.

You automatically get signed up for a monthly subscription. I got charged nearly $17 a month when I used the "send 10 pages free" option. No where on the initial sign up page does it inform you of this (I'm sure it's in the fine print, but let's be real. Only shady, dirty businesses actually hide things in their fine print), and guess whaaaat? Hits your account a day early with a ridiculous $17 fee. AND you have to call to cancel your account.

I got scammed! Yesterday was supposed to be day one of 30 day free trial (I tried it & had 2 failed faxes before giving up) and today (day 2 of my free trial) my credit card was billed $16.95!!! Tried calling their service desk...but got a big run around with recordings. I will report this to my credit card and Google.

It said I had a number and to click to activate. It said Your Account Info: Be sure to write down your new eFax number and password in a safe place. You will need them the next time you want to login to your eFax account online. The item was not found eFax Number: Password: All blanks. Lame

It's a useful app. But the last fax I sent never reached the destination. And it said that I had ten pages of free faxes and that I had used them all but I have only faxed out 3 pages... What happen to the other 7 free pages

I had this app for 3 months. Everything was fine until I saw an additional charge on my account for over $50. When I called to dispute the charge, they said it was due to a 1 page fax that they claim to allegedly attempt to send 500 times! Lies! They basically are crooks who know that they have you by the balls once they have your credit information. Shame too, cuz I would have probably been a longtime happy customer had they not attempted to STEAL from me!!!

I sent Fax and Im not sure wheter the receipient receive it or not but I was charge mire than a thousand pesos. 1000 pesos plus hard earned money just fly away. Please do something about it i want mONEY BACK. AND ALSO PLEASE STOP MY SUNSCRIPTION. I DID NOT AUTHORIZE YOU TO DEDUCT 16 US DOLLARS FROM.MY ACCOUNT. I have been unable to log in many times. It's blocked me out and has verified my email address and PIN several times to my registered address. I AM DONE WITH THIS APP! Please unregister me and take back the phone number given to me.

Find another way to fax. Although the app says you get 10 free faxes in fact I got only one. Then it asked me to upgrade. The upgrade attempt "failed" but I'm guessing I'll be billed for months, according to the many reviews. Cancelling my account and billing info now.

Google play please remove this app ASAP. just spent some time replacing my debit card because of them. Why because outsourced customer service man told me that he could not cancel my account unless I gave him my debit card number. Don't give it to them unless you want them to drain your bank account. They say that your card will not be charged until 30 day trial ends. The minute that I signed up they debited a dollar. I don't trust them. Would you? THIS APP NEEDS IMMEDIATE ACTION AGAINST THEM.

It works and allows you to send a fax but it promises you 10 free and that definitely doesn't happen. I sent one and suddenly I don't have any available. No thanks. I'm not going to pay for it if you can't get it right

This app sucks. It didnt fax the items i needed and now i have to call to unsubscribe. Its a hassle to keep and its a hassle to get rid of. Don't waste your time with this app.

I used this a few weeks ago and it was great. Trying to use it again today but couldn't remember my login info. They emailed me my fax number but when I try to get my password it tells me that the number is wrong...

Fraud - App said 1 free week trial but was charge immediatley. And fax was unsuccessful still had to fax from UPS Store. Didnt realize thw charge until Friday night have to wait till Monday to contact Support & cancel.

Won't connect to receiving fax. Won't retry after first failed attempt. Bills pages sent based on attempt, not successful transmission. Trash. Uninstall.

Horrible - ZERO STARS ... They're a quintessential scam who make it impossible to cancel your account. Some phony representative from India took my call back number for someone to "call me back" which of course they didn't. In the end I had to cancel my credit card they were ripping off. DO NOT get this service if you want to avoid huge stress!

EFax is one of my favorite mobile apps! I've been an efax online subscriber for many years, mostly because it was cheaper than adding additional hardware & dedicated phone line. However, Efax quickly proved to be much more than I couldve ever imagined! The flexibility, convenience, mobility, & savings in trips (gas & time) to a fax machine, are invaluable! All my mobile app upgrades have pushed Efax beyond my craziest expectations & has finally completed Efax, to best of my knowledge! So far, lol!

1.Constantly has server issues, rendering it unable to send faxes even in good signal areas. 2.erases the fax if not sent successfully u will have to prepare fax again for it to hopefully send. 3.The price went up from $16 to $20 on my bill statement. -currently looking for an app that's more streamline especially at $20 a month

Terrible, would have been great, but they promised a 30 day free trial then charged my card after the second day. They refused to refund to charge. Very unhappy!

Every time I have tried sending a fax, it fails. Not one went through. I'll just use my local FedEx store.

Horrible app. Never worked. Tried to cancel and they charged me 20 $ anyway. Called them and all they said was sorry, no refunds even if it doesn't work

Every time I attempt to send a fax and or am sent a fax I never can do anything because the app keeps saying server error WTF!

Worked flawlessly except for one teeny exception. I couldn't find a pay as you go option. Only a monthly subscription. And since I don't fax often, I didn't want to sign up for that. So my money for my additional pages went to another app.

Will trick you into a free 30 day membership and 1 week after they will charge you 16.96. Fraud and I am bringing legality action

Company sales and support reps blatantly lie. When my company signed up, we specifically asked them if we could port our number if we chose to leave. They said 'Yes' and I very clearly remember that because it was a key decision for us signing up. We started with them and they tripled the prices without giving any notice. Then we said we'd like to pull the number out and they said numbers can't be ported out. This company is highly deceptive and participates in very disrespectful and deceptive business practices. They have no respect for their clients and their goal is to trick people into paying more. We brought this up with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and their response was equally disrespectful and dishonest. It's BBB case number 515960 in the Northern California BBB if anyone cares to review for extra details. EDIT: their response further shows that they don't pay attention. I already talked to their support team and they were completely useless. This is a terrible company that has very aggressive and misleading business practices. DO NOT BELIEVE anything they say and just choose another vendor.

They'll charge from your credit card even if not using their service..! I have tried to contact their customer service via email but no response. Please don't be a prey.
