iZettle: Free point of sale

Love the card reader and the apps ease of use, can't understand why you have put a cash option on there though?

Was working ok until recently. Now the app freezes when I connect the card reader.

I can't turn the screen on my tab. Not good when i bought a cash register for it.

Was doing so well, but recently very slow and frustrating.

Would like to be able to add a percentage charge (as well as offer a discount) for tips, service, fees etc

I'm a taxi driver and this allows me to take card payments in the car. Fist class.

To be fair, I really like this app. Easy to use, hooks up to the card reader via bluetooth.. I'd have gone 5 stars for this app had recent updates not incorporated a 'cash' button as well as card. I mean guys, come on, I got an izettle card reader to take card payments.. I am perfectly capable of accepting cash payments without having to use an app for that too.!!!

It's a good app

It's a shame his was ok until the update and now no longer works. Customer service is useless and they take far to long to reply or get back to you with a useless answer. I would not use izettle again due to the experience I had and have found a much better service elsewhere ' where I do not need a plug in machine that will let me down'.

I have had mine for about a year. In that time I used the reader six times I think. Then the reader failed. I applied for a new one under warranty and received it after some time. I have used the second reader 3 times and now it is starting to fall as well. My reader is the audio type. They are junk.

I can't take payments! The card reader connects and the indicator light flashes to say it's ready but the app isn't recognising it. Can't take any payments at all and then the app keeps freezing. Ridiculous.

Not good for any bluetooth printer. iZettle must have a deal with Star. Only those printers work. I have a thermal, bluetooth, portable printer from another company and I can print anything from my cell phone, except receipts from this app. Returning the card reader right away.

I've been with iZettle for a few years now and generally its quite good but recent updates have made the app unstable which can be annoying when your customer is standing there tapping away waiting to pay. I really dislike the addition of selecting card or cash during checkout... what was wrong with assuming card and having a cash button to change that? And why the refusal to enable landscape mode???

Very good but missing ability to take payments over the phone. Other similar systems have that. Shame for iZettle.

Very good and works fast.

Recently upgraded to the Bluetooth reader, so much better to use. Edit. Knocked off 2 stars. Still my printer cuts a 1cm piece of paper after the receipt, have queried this will them several times but still no fix. It's also got incredibly slow from entering payment amount to the cash draw opening. They seem to be more interested in their rebranding than giving us a product that runs smoothly and can be used in landscape mode.

So simple to use, slips in my bag so no lugging around clunky card readers and hassle free deposits. Would recommend.

Easy enough app to work but it keeps freezing up on my galaxy s7. Please try to sort Galaxy compatibility issues thx Issues seem to have been resolved although we have multiple users and phones and sometimes you have to unpair then repair the reader

The app is great and the whole concept of izettle is good. I am a small takeaway and can now take card payments without the large cost of renting a terminal and pci fees, etc. However the app is limited in what receipt printers it can connect to. There is a list of compatible printers but £200+ for a receipt printer isn't great.

It has been working ok. But it stop working now. It does not react to the touches at all.

Was working ok but SLOW. Now still slow but also failing to recognise any card. Useless

Great for my needs, only issue I have with it is. If I haven't used it for a while the battery won't retain power, I'd not for that would be 5x......
