My rating used to be 5 stars. It stayed that way for many years. I dropped to 1 star with the update last fall, which messed up too many things to count. The recent update fixed some of the problems that started with that update. But the start mileage is still messed up. Been putting up with having to correct starting mileage to the ending mileage of previous trip, for every freaking trip, for almost a year! Apps are supposed to make life easier, not harder. Fix it finally, and I will restore to 5.

Needs updating. Still doesnt work on newer phones when trying to send reports; receive error for SD card. Well, i bought and installed an sd card and it still doesn't work. Need 2017 mileage rates. Im going to use a different mileage tracker. Its been a good 4 years but lack of support and updates means it is time to switch

Have used the iPhone app successfully for a number of years. Disappointed that the data can't be transferred between versions. The android version is poor in comparison to the IOS one. Default mileage values don't seem to work, as they do on iOS. Not usable.

The latest version of this app claims "SD Card access restored for newer phones. The newer phones, such as the Galaxy S7, require more permissions. This release addresses that." NO IT DOESN'T! APP STILL OFFERS NO OPTION TO BACKUP TO THE SD CARD. CONTACTED CUSTOMER SUPPORT, THEY SAID, "YEAH, GUESS IT DOESN'T. " WOULD LOVE A FIX!

Have requested several tweaks over several years of use. Nothing changes and the app is now out of date and frankly buggy. Do yourself a favor and pick something else before you waste a few bucks on this app that sees little to no development or effort. In particular the Android version is the worst as I guess the developer uses apple products.

I don't get it. How do I get it to track miles? I thought it would turn in when the car started going, as with other apps, but that didn't happen.

Since fixing the phantom scrolling on the Galaxy S7 Edge everything has worked great!

Update; uninstalled a couple of times, restarted my phone, seems to work now. If it continues I will up to 5 stars. Been fighting this app off and on for months now but finally started working. Hope they test the next update before putting out. Love it when it works. Used it for a year or more and was great until it updated. Anyway, hope this helps others who have been frustrated.

Latest bug fix is a good improvement. Still waiting on the starting mileage to be the last ending mileage instead of the last starting milage. Thank you for releasing a fix relatively fast. Looking for the next one.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 and when I turn on GPS it shuts the App down. When that gets fixed it will be a 5.

used Windows version for few years and switched to Android phone. The categories and customizations vs competition meet my business needs much better. However, can't believe there is no cloud back up... Windows version had Dropbox . Also each trip entry requires more manual selections, unable to reorder presets... they display by order you enter so you cannot reshuffle like u can in windows to put most recently used at the top. So if u have many entries, that's a lot of wasted scrolls.

U70%

Update resolved most of my issues. Wish it behaved more like the iPhone version where it filled in correct mileage from last entry.

I have used this app for years and have recommended to many clients. The past couple months the start mileage pulls the previous days start mileage. So inconvenient because it's now more work. I saw comments from developer dated 2 mos ago that day they are aware and a fix will be available soon. Can we just go back to the prior release? Two months is a long time to manually change daily!

Recently switched from iPhone to Android. Milebug works great on iPhone but the Android app is very buggy. It crashes often. It constantly jumps to presets settings for no reason. It keeps hiding the keyboard in the middle typing. All those and other bugs make it very frustrating to use. If it's not fixed soon I'll be looking for a different solution.

I have to input the miles myself? Glad I only wasted $2.99. I thought I was getting a gps tracker like other mileage apps. Did I time travel back to 2004? My blackberry mile tracker milebug is a pain.

N70%

It's very good at tracking mileage on multiple vehicles. However it needs to a cloud backup feature. I forgot to back it up before wiping my phone to resolve issues. Lost all my data for the year...it's September:(

X70%

I've had the app for years, multiple businesses, purposes, and vehicles - worked beautifully. As of last update everything takes more work to enter simple data. New trips pull the start instead of end odometer of prior trips requiring rework on every entry. When editing a trip it kicks me out to settings instead of the odometer entry fields. Several clicks to navigate back to the data entry form. Usability is key for an app like this and its been lost. Will rate 5 stars if fixed.

The Windows phone version was better. Have to constantly click on button to get back to the page is supposed to be on. This is a downgrade. Seems to be pretty common among Android apps. Can't import the database from Windows version either. I'm pretty much better off using Excel

Complete crap vs the iPhone version nothing backs up the backups don't work out can't read the files and the presets are all screwed up

N70%

Despite other complaints I have never experienced a glitch with this in over 2 years of use. It is one of the most dependable apps. HTC then Note 3. Exports well and is most useful app.

I have had this app now for about 3 years. I have always been pleased with the performance of the app but there has been a bug now for a long time and after contacting support I was told they were fixing the bugs. That was about 8 months ago. Needless to say, it seems as though no one cares about fixing it. I'm thinking about getting a new app.

As others have mentioned, MileBug used to be great, but the annoying lack of mileage carry over from the previous mileage entry, the always-an-extra-click notification about rates that never allows you to update and have it go away, are each very frustrating. When is an update coming along?

N70%
by N####:

This WAS a great mileage tracking program. That was until this last update. Now it is super buggy and it screws up you mileage tracking by always going with you start mileage from your previous trip among other things. I have emailed the company and they keep promos in an update but nothing ever happens! Please get this fixed SOON as my technicians rely on this for expense reports.

No longer calculates correct mileage for favorite trips. Goes to the wrong page when entering in mileage. Frustrating.

I liked the app on the iphone, the android version has many glitches on the tablet so I asked if I could also install on my phone without having to purchase again, developer quickly answered and walked me through the process. App has the same glitches on the phone, i.e. if you press odometer it takes you to presets tab. I asked for a refund and never heard back from them!

N70%
by N####:

I assumed this would automatically start & stop my drives with GPS & I would just have to categorize the drive. Looks like I have to manually input each drive. Would like a refund as I just downloaded this morning, but refund option is no longer available.

Like others, I am left wondering what happened. I used the iPhone version for years, and, while it had issues, it was usable and useful. I've had this version for one month now, and I hate it. I cannot figure out how to set sane defaults, so I have to set everything every time. If that weren't bad enough, several times I stop tracking, click done, and it jumps back to the main trip screen with everything I had input ignored! I then have to go fix it, again selecting every single item. I'm finally looking for something else.

U70%
by U####:

This app is great on IOS and unusable on Android. No scroll wheels for setting time and kilometres, no ability to restore .mbdata file. Please fix. After updating to Android 6.0 app stopped updating origin trip values and jumps into setting screen every time you want to enter the trip values or new destination.

N70%
by N####:

When I finally ditched my Palm and "dumb" phone for "smart" phone, I really did not want to learn a new mileage tracker. I went through all that I could find in the app store and MileBug had the least learning curve, once I got the defaults set up correctly. I would like to be able to "spin the odometer" to set the mileage rather than having to key it in each time, which is why I only gave it 4 stars. UPDATE! The latest version does not have a way to clear all trips at end of year. Please fix! UPDATE II. Issue is fixed, On a Galaxy S5 Active one must HOLD DOWN the lower left physical menu button to get the "Delete all trips" virtual button to come up, but once you know this, you can delete all your trips when starting a new year, month, quarter or whatever.

Odometer has been broken since September. Updates promised but 5 months later I'm still waiting. Scrapping it for something else. I'd be more patient if the app was free, but I paid for it.

N70%

Stay away from this app. It's broken & author will not fix it. All you get is promises & no action. I'm staying away from all their apps. VERY BAD SUPPORT!!! This is a great simple mileage tracker. I have been using it for a few months. The latest bug that hasn't been fixed over the past few months is that the ending odometer reading is not forwarded to the start odometer reading in a new trip. So you have to go back to the previous trip, note the ending odometer reading, developer has known about this for
